I think the mod would do much better if 1. You start with only 5 divisions and 2. Can intergrate other regions you conquer

In addition, surrounding countries (Italy etc.) could slowly carve up frontier countries making them aggressor to FRENCH SOIL. The goal of campaign would be to beat everybody. Of course, it means adjusting these neighbours to functionable state, but fighting against that coalition would be pretty cool.

1 can be handled by in-mod rules and 2 can be handled by any of the "core provinces" mod But it should probably be a base-game feature.

Weird in a game but smart in real life. The President of Ukraine said for months that they'll retake the south and then made a giant counter offensive in the north which was light defended because of his public statements.

You earned my respect. I struggle to take control of the south because the enemy formed a state first before me. I even struggle in improving my civilian factories. To my surprise, the enemy on Corsica naval invaded me when I was focusing on the North. Fighting four factions with good fighters and bombers on their aide. Lol. Struggle is real!
