This guy knew exactly what he was doing!! As for all you people on here making bad replies against him what do y'all use to shovel your driveway off with scraps of plywood? Or do y'all even have a driveway?... Not to mention one hell of a welder!!...

Use beet juice. It’s heavier and doesn’t freez until -25C. Ok but why bother. You took to long. All the snows gone. Haha. Just saying.

Great video You are a rock star. To show us how you put the plow together The time and supplies are only a fraction of what's needed. I hope you can make money Thank you
@shabadoo242 жыл бұрын
I know guys who made plows for quads and trikes, they use plastic barrels, steel scraper bar on the bottoms, ribs on the back of the barrel plow to hold shape. Steel oil drums, the best were old hot water heater tanks, strong, thicker than sheet metal.
@commoncents4562 жыл бұрын
@@shabadoo24 Thank you Water heater sounds great. I was looking to make a small plow for my snowblower. I looked at a plastic barrel. Still in the planning stages. 😛😛😛😛😛

Great job. Looks really professional. Spray the plow with some non stick cooking spray before using, will help the snow slide off easily.
@Superduty_592 жыл бұрын
You can fill the rear tires with coolant to add more weight. This will help with mowing and plowing. Granted those rear tires are small but it would still add additional weight.

Looks and functions great! Came here for ideas on techniques to build my own and stayed for the entire video. Keep it up!
@Cossie2k Жыл бұрын
Looks great, and should hold up for the amount of snow you are pushing. Only thing id change is to place a strip of 50x2 steel along the bolt holes for the rubber. As you have it now you may find the rubber rips out the holes

very respectable build cudos on the plow , this would be good for a larger garden tractor or a quad but i dont have alot of faith in the aluminum trans and yellow metal gears that it houses to push snow for any length of time , those are extremely light duty machines meant for one thing , grass , nice craftsmanship though

Made one in 3mm 355 sheet metal with 6mm hardox at the bottom. Put plates instead of wheels, they hold better. Also made spring loaded so if you drive in against something, the blade can fold instead of destroying the tractor
