I usually do the same thing for editing my photos.. but I don't separate the background like you did in first step. I just do the blur like you did and clean the main subject from the review edits .. I also use 100/75/50/25 % of filter strength according to give it a fake sense of the depth of field, so it looks more realistic . But still a good tutorial.. very helpful for new people 👍

@@chespinpokemon909 The higher the number the more will the effect be applied. So 100 is what you use on the background then you can use the 25/50/75 on the subject (I recommend only using 25/50 on the subject) and leave the part you want the most focus at 0. Basically, the blurrier you want to make it, the higher the number.

Hey Suchak. I usually dodge and burn in Photoshop. Lightroom is just for quick edits and color grading for me. So if you'd like a Photoshop tutorial in detailed editing, I can do that in future :)
