Saurav Sinha hello. I really like your tutorials. It would help if you slowed down a little. I understand that perhaps you're trying to get the information across in a short amount of time but your information would go a lot further if you took some extra minutes to explain each step or function. It's great content and I'm certain you'll get more views and people would be more likely to stay with the video all the way through. Keep it up though ! You're doing a wonderful job.!

Saurav Sinha bro i want to ask you . how i want to focus image using a camera that don’t have touchscreen . because if we have a touchscreen we just can tap at the subject that we want to focus .

The knowledge that we can acquire from you is worth hundreds of dollars (sometimes probably more) on various photography courses, workshops, etc. Of course, advices from a pro how to shoot a particular image in a particular moment in real life is priceless, but with channels like this and a lot of trial and error we can get pretty much the same effect at the end of the day. Thank you very much, I look forward to your next videos. I'd also really love to see a kind of tutorial/vlog-ish video regarding "travel photography" like landscapes, nightlife, street photography. Just how non-professionals can capture their moments in the best way during a trip :D That'd be awesome. Cheers from Poland!

@saffronfalcon7 жыл бұрын
the thing you have stated are mostly mentioned in user manuals. histogram depicts the exposure, a histogram is not a marksheet of an exposure. high key lighting will have most details in one corner & low key will have details in the other. being an enthusiast and a learner i concentrate more on the creative aspect of photography rather than the technical. aperture priority mode is helpful in almost all the except for when you are using lights. you cannot fully control the strobe/flash light intensity & the ambient exposure with the aperture and shutter, here comes the manual mode. it allows us to manipulate both the ambient & the strobe. of course we still need to control the intensity of strobe/flash externally. points that you have covered are examples of spot metering, exposure compensation and shutter speeds. the exposure meter is the aspect you have pivoted your exposure upon. setting shutter and aperture and monitoring the meter. its essentially the same thing as using shutter & aperture priority modes. manual mode is beyond the scope of exposure meter. manual mode is used where the inbuilt exposure value meter is rendered useless. i hope this was helpful.

Hey Saurav, thanks for the info. Have a query. In less light condition, is it good to higher the iso and decrease the shutter spped or lowering the iso and increasing the shutter speed is a better option? What will you suggest. Thanks in advance. ☺️
@siddharthsharma75332 жыл бұрын
If your camera and subject are stable (camera on tripod etc) shutter speed is the better option. If both things aren't stable (camera is handheld) then ISO is the last option.

Hi Saurav, Nice video series. For the landscape image that you took, can you tell what should have been done better to get more of highlights or a better image rather than much darker shadows? Secondly, can you upload a video on histograms and taking birds in flight? Thanks!
@sauravus7 жыл бұрын
+D Hi, since the highlights are bright you have to expose for highlights and that will give you dark shadows. That's the limitation of our camera. If you want brighter shadows you will lose details in highlights. HDR is a technique that can be used if you want to capture more details in highlights and shadows
