I don't know why, but I keep coming back to this video. You kind of have it all in one video. Intense action, nail biting cliff hangers, a saving private Ryan moment, sarcasm/over kill, and many WTF moments. I guess you could call it the Kobayashi Maru Mission test for Arma. Dslyecxi, This was riveting. I'm a long time Arma1, 2 and now 3 player and I've watched/enjoyed your videos for quite a while now, but you've outdone yourself this time. Great fight! I like how stressed how the ground guys were, you could just hear it in their voices. It seemed like there was a communication breakdown between ground and air assets when they were holed up in that compound around the 37 min mark. Really shows the realities of war. The Helicopter Missions supporting a Ground Element, is always the best Shack Tac Video's. My second Favourite is the PARA-DROP ones, when teams form Ad-hoc in the night and run around creating havoc and trying to hook up, often short of ammo and AT, those Para ones are ultra-tense.

Even the best servers have a limited capacity for player-counts. At some point it becomes unplayable due to technical limitations like netcode. ShackTac are doing a hell of a job though making large games possible! The thing with TvT is you have to distribute players over two or more teams. The advantage of Coop is more players in one platoon and WAY more soldiers on the battlefield in the form of AI.

it's been a while since i started to watch shack tac videos. I'm pretty sure that i've find a kind of gaming style i always wanted to be part of. However,even if i can handle myself with english it would be hard to get used to all the callsigns and abbreviations you use during gameplay. Probably i'll move to america in a couple of years. That was has got to be the best youtube video I have every seen. I wish we (Playstation Network users) had games like this. The best we have for big map battles is Battlefield. Not that I'm saying Battlefield or PSN is bad, but I think everyone on PSN would like a game like Arma. Huge maps, huge rang of vehicle, radio chatter and awesome and epic battles. Repair of vehicles is mission specific and in this case, I think it was disabled. There were multiple birds that went down and were abandoned.

Well, yes. Some helicopters have distinct advantages over others. Apache's pull towards the attack role, whereas a Littlebird leans towards the support role.

When you spent atleast 5 minutes attempting to locate and excract one of the surviving ground units whilst using smoke and flairs and then next extracting AN1 by using a GPS marker. Do all units have the ability to mark locations and such on the GPS? Or is it just air units like AN1?

Do you have extra aircraft spawning or is there a limited pool on the ground at the start of mission? EDIT: Transitioning to swimming seems to be less janky than in ArmA 3, which has weapon slinging animations that stop you dead while they finish.
