I remember when you first posted this video on youtube. Back in the fast and the furious days. I had only had my license for a few years and was really getting into cars at that point. Cruising the local strip which was packed with badass cars. People racing stoplight to stoplight. Those were the good old days. Not much to worry about. Times have changed. I just randomly stumbled across this video again and it makes me feel nostalgic!

It can be a pain for first timers. Luckily, I had a good friend helping me out and we did the whole project *(removal and re-install) in under 6 good hours. Everything worked perfect. Parts do break, especially if they are stock and have never been replace before. Make sure you replace the slave/master/& fork(if bad) etc.

your right, but in late 94/95 DSM the joint venture ended, Mitsubishi and Chryslar went there ways, as in 95 dodge launched the "avenger" program to replace the eagles. Any hoot, my car was built in 94 (aug 94) and is stamped DSM as was the last to come off the line.

No, the Fiat Marea started its production in 1998 and closed last year. is an exceptional car, if I want to post links to videos here. Motor with 5 cylinders and 20 valves. The car runs very ... I got a 2.4. And your comfort is exemplary. Search videos on youtube of "Marea Turbo, this engine with 5 cylinders 2.0 20v Turbo 182cv original and in Europe with 225cv.

And he is quite lighter than the Eclipse. Eclipse - 1750kg Marea - 1300kg

Ive never been in more love then with my 96 talon tsi !!! There amazing cars once yo put some big injectors in them and a front mount.. However I did the 6 bolt swap and it cranked walked twice on me with in 5,000 miles, So I elmi. both balance shafts !!! HOLLY SHIT! if you can do it get rid if them.. Huge oil pressure gain and HP!! :-)

The evo I-VI also used the 4g63, the older ones using almost the exact engine from the DSM's just obviously with better options, being the 16G turbo and such. what people do not realize is that the 4g63 was pushing out good power back in the early 90's and guess what? a stock civic still does not have the same power from the factory even these days. the 4g63 was one of the best engines ever made.

Seriously? Do they only do this when left in but belts removed, or with the plug kit and all? I can see it maybe taking the life of the mounts down due to vibration.. but they do not physically run any other part of the engine.... and should not cause "serious" problems.. but I'll take your word, and research some more.

well technically now the most powerful 4 banger from the factory is the flat four in the new sti but the fastest 4 banger in the world uses a 4g63.

Hate to correct you, but i'm going to. In the 2G's the RS and GS came with the 420A, and the GS-T and GS-X came with the 4G63T, he said that he has a GS-T, it's even in his screen name. So i'm gonna say that he has a 4G63T in his Eclipse. Definitely NOT a chick car.

i need help with mine i want to keep modding it where the previous owner ended its 95 gsx auto and it has hks bov greddy intercooler pipeing um greddy straight pipe turbo exhaust and thats about it and boost gauge idk where else to go from there i was thinking FMIC or bigger turbo from stock one but idk how to put those parts on never had or worked on turbo car before so its interesting and im comeing from knowledge of jdms hondas and stuff dont know alot about dsms so any ideas for the next mod

the 4g63 is an awesome engine.the all iron block is almost indestructable. the power potential of the engine is deep as the pocket that funds them and can smoke any Honda pieces of shit out there.

Sorry dude ur mistaken. The 1st and 2nd G eclipses and talons are dsm. Even the rs and gs models are considered DSM's. Shoot the vr4 galants are considered dsm's too.

what i meant was a "true" 4g63 and 93.5-99 were NOT.. 90-93.5 were the only eclipses with balls.. after that they made "your" 4g63 which is a 7 bolt which = trash...... love the body style of second gens tho :)

Actually the 7 bolt has just as much potential as the 6 bolt. Also the 2g head flows bettter than the 1g for street applications. Unless you're trying to make 800+ hp the 2g head is the way to go. And if you're reffering to crankwalk, the actual percentage of crankwalk afflicted cars is very low. It's not as bad of a problem as everyone makes it out to be. Granted, I'd choose a 6 bolt over a 7 bolt but saying the 7 bolts have no balls is just dumb.
