Chapek should’ve approved projects to be announced at D23 2022 and actually got building. Instead from 2020-2022 we saw Disney delay and prolong construction and not announce new projects. Then they would have had something ready for 2025/26.

Pactically speaking, the timing better aligns with Disney's target ARPU as most theme park vacationer's wallets will take a year or so to recuperate from Epic Universe, and Disney will want to maximize revenue from everyone who comes through that turnstile between 2027-2030 - like, record level spending.

I think you're spot on with your movie predictions. WDW seems to be closing a lot of things in the first half of 2025, just as attention will be shifting. Seems like nothing opening in 2025 will have a big impact on that shifted focus. It's going to be a rough few months (years) at WDW.

I just recently got to go to Disney world with my family. The last time I went to Disney World was when I graduated High school over 17 years ago. We got back yesterday; I never rode Rock'N Rollercoaster before the last two times I went to the parks. So, I made sure to do that ride on Wednesday when we went to Hollywood Studios. It was awesome. I also got to ride Dinosaur one last time to.

I love keeping up with the box office so my 2025 predictions are: Cap 4: 400-500M Snow White: 200-300M Thunderbolts: 300-400M Lilo & Stitch: 800-900M Elio: 200-300M Fantastic 4: 600-700M Tron 3: 300-400M Zootopia: 1.5-1.6B Avatar Fire & Ash: 2.1-2.2B I think it will be a rougher year for Disney but they should still get the top 2 of the year (maybe top 3). You are likely overestimating most of the marvel films for the year.

For DLP you are missing the music festival events from april to september. With new parades, new spectacles and so. Before I begin celebrating Disneyland's 70th anniversary, I will watch extra Disney reels and a lot of Disney Princess clips. I am excited to endure a cognitive luck for the live-action Snow White and Lilo and Stitch alongside Elio and Avatar: Fire and Ash. The light projection show of Disneyland Paris at night with all the characters and other details projected futuristically on the buildings of Disneyland Paris' castle and Main Street U.S.A. I already found out about.

Tron 3 incorporating an AI story angle is very smart. Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning was a great AI thriller and brought a fresh, current take on the franchise. With good writing, the same could hold true for Tron 3.

If Big Thunder Mountain Railroad closes to start, continue and end its brand-new lengthy refurbishment, I hope they can find the missing red wheel pairs to the engine cars at the front of each train and reattach them with drive rods so the locomotive will turn them while thundering across the rails with every guest in all the cars it hauls.

Agreed, the world of Zootopia has so much story potential for sequels, compared to some of the other franchises Disney has control over like Toy Story or Inside Out. While I like the sequels for those franchises, there’s only so much mileage you can get out of those limited universes compared to Zootopia.

I could see the 70th anniversary festivities extend through the World Cup, which will end on July 19, so even just 3 extra months on the front end just for summer 2025 crowds + crowds for the World Cup, which would be a win despite the impact Epic will have in Orlando

Seeing a Walt Disney animatronic would be incredible if it works and I heard that his grandchildren has given the approval for this show, great way to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Disneyland. As a Disneyland Paris fan myself I am excited to see the new night time show especially with the Main Street projection scene and of course I am glad to hear the drones are still being used after watching the video of Disneyland Paris celebrating the reopening of Notre Dame De Paris. I totally agree with you Jack about the Snow White remake to be released on Disney+ instead of theatres like Pinocchio. Personally I still love the original 2002 animated version of Lilo & Stitch but if it does become a huge box office success then I would love to see more spinoff series of the Lilo & Stitch franchise on Disney+ especially with all of experiments but closer to the 2003-2006 tv series not the anime or Chinese versions.

i'll miss its tough to be a bug. it seems a lot of the atriactions i experinced as a kid are being reimagined. first splash mountain and that barnstormer in magic kingdom. then muppets vision 3-D and now this. I'm just glad that a lot of the replacement I like.

As for 2025 Disney movie releases. I might try to go see the Lilo and Stitch remake, the sequel to Freaky Friday both me and my mom would love to see, I also would like to see the Snow-White remake since this has been in the works for years, and both Fantastic Four and Zootopia 2. I might try to see Avatar 3, but I have to find a way to watch Avatar 2 first.

I'm glad for the last ride of the Red Car Trolley with my mom for the Oogie Boogie Bash. Same as "It's Tough to be a Bug" in A Bug's Land in California Adventure, the former site of Walt Disney Imagineering: Blue Sky Cellar. And I'm excited for the 70th anniversary of Disneyland. Very soon in the future, they will put the animatronic of me so that the audience in the future won't believe their own eyes. And I also can't wait to see another Captain America movie, the live action movies of Lilo and Stitch and Snow White.

I don't see how Stitch and Fantastic Four would do so well at the box office. Where do you get the enthusiasm from? Expect them both to bomb. Audiences have superhero movie fatigue and that's been clear since 2020. Zootopia will do well, that will be Disney's biggest hit.

Hi Jack, DLP, is amazing at night time shows ,drones etc, however both parks are lacking when it comes to rides. Particularly Studios park, changing the name doesn't make it any better! Arendelle is taking forever to complete and when it's done there still isn't much in that park. Bring Muppet Vision 3D over ,there's plenty of room for it and it would be a popular addition, why lose an iconic attraction?

Great video, Jack. I think you're WAY overestimating Snow White. I think Disney is tired of pouring good money after bad and will let it have a theatrical run to recoup what they can. I doubt they spend much (relatively, of course) on marketing. Rachel Zeigler has done so much damage by being an insufferable little brat already that Disney kind of knows it's cooked before it even launches.

They've likely already started on the set pieces for the Indy ride. Some of the work they do, like building animatronics, is done outside the ride in workshops. It's then a matter of removing the old set pieces and installing the new ones. They can't put in the new pieces until they're ready so rather than leaving the building empty for a while they're keeping Dinosaur running until they're ready.

That wasn´t said like that, I doubt they waiting til they ending the Celebration before bringing back Mr. Lincoln. I highly doubt they will do that to just show the new one over a Year before bringing back something WALT has worked with them since the Family finally approved the new Show I think they made sure that it isn´t ditching the other one for that long that should and has to be a part of the celebration as well. But who knows it could be but that would be pretty wild to doing it that way than why not classify and pronounced presented it clearer. Not a single word in that direction was said. Disney can expect that people would have issues if they just kept it away for that long. Even when it is great witnessing the new Walt Show more often but really wouldn´t people getting bored after some months if they also want to see Abe Show as well after a while.
