I bought this product for nozamA (I wrote it backwards just in case), I followed the steps, assembled it and it works great. for its use I recommend a very well stabilized power source. Due to language differences (I speak Spanish) I did not understand that it is an oscilloscope with a bandwidth of 200 Khz with a test probe of 100 Mhz (I thought that the oscilloscope was 100 Mhz, it's a shame). But hey, I think it is a very good and useful product in some circumstances, such as student projects, small jobs, some experiments, audio and video repairs, etc.

I just bought one of these last night off banggood and ill be using your video when it arrives. I like the way you arranged your components in a piece of paper👏👍 Il be using that trick myself. Thank you for sharing 🙏👍

im sure i saw this video before and like what you done with the components on the paper.. i got a great little gas powered soldering iron in Lidels the other week.. im well impressed with it!! only 17euro. works excellent, so i might use it where you use your one as i haven't put my DSO together yet.. forgot all about it until a few days ago.. nice video, good and quick but full of all the right info. nicely done buddy!! : )

Hello. Very Nice vídeo. Can you teste a situation of Hight Frequency Transient with one of your less espensive oscilloscope? Like a mini-motor conect to the eletricity home net. I'm a geobiologiste and the so call "durty eletricity" it's an important matter of safety at home. I'm from Portugal and I'm already a fun. Thank you very much!!!

strange how they change the details. I got one yesterday from BG and it does not have the circuit diagrams( from the exact same link ) .
The printed manual that came with my kit was a later revision than the latest revision on the JYETech website! There are also some anomalies in their other documentation. It is my understanding that this is an open source design, and that JYETech is only one of several outfits that are selling products based on that design. I am quite impressed with mine, and the manual is better than average for inexpensive Chinese kits. The only real things that I dislike is that the specification for bandwidth is 0-200kHz, but that is the analog circuit rating, not the overall scope rating. In my own experiments, this scope is not useful for anything about about 20kHz (NOT 200kHz)......I wonder if the 200kHz was a typo. With sampling.aliasing shortcomings, the display can show all sorts of amazingly inaccurate waveforms in frequencies above perhaps 50kHz, and they still look so 'correct' that an inexperienced user might be fooled. Once example, feeding a 100kHz sine wave (also being simultaneously monitored with a high end Tektronix scope AND a frequency counter), this DSO displayed a very nice sine wave with a period about half the width of the screen, while the S/Div was 20mS (that would mean a 10Hz signal, not a 100kHz signal). But below around 20kHz, this DSO seemed to reliably show what the real signal was.

What is the procedure for updating the firmware?

How to factory reset this? It stopped showing correct measurements and just started doing random lines even without connected to anything

you know a lot about this stuff im just getting into this. could you tell me if this would work on a car to check to see if there is a data stream to ecu or signal to maf etc
@techydiy2 жыл бұрын
It depends the frequency of the datastream, of which I know nothing about. It will most likely show you something but whether it is useful, I don't know.

is it possible to test the crystal oscillator (real time clock) in an electronic circuit?
@techydiy4 жыл бұрын
Probably, depends on frequency and type. Rtc xtal is normally 32.768khz which is only just above audio frequencies.

The web site link is glitchy, in that they ask for address confirmation . They page to do so does not format on myscreens, and allow forward movement of the purchase, showing no " confirm" button to complete purchase. This, on two different computers and one my android phone. Perhaps someone can contact them to get them to tweak their web site? They lost my sale because of it. Shame, i was looking forward to it

Hi I got it but the dial only works in one direction. Once I reached 20v I can't go back. Same thing with the time. Any idea why and how can I fix it? thanks
@techydiy5 жыл бұрын
It has been quite a while since I did this and can't remember how it goes together, but I would look at the soldering around the rotary encoder and associated parts.

Can you use a 10x probe with this
@youtuuba4 жыл бұрын
I have tested mine using a normal scope probe, both in 1X and 10X mode, and it works fine. Of course, there is nothing on the DSO to remind you that voltage readings might be off by an order of magnitude......

Hi, sir, Could i measure a signal AC 220 v?
@chestervaldes75515 жыл бұрын
I think it's only good for 50V peak to peak
@camival19995 жыл бұрын
You probably can do it using a x100 attenuation probe, but they usually are more expensive than this kit. Maybe a x10 could be enough, but I think it's too risky as it could theoretically measure around 400 Vpp. I use the x10 for 120V and it works well.

@youtuuba4 жыл бұрын
@@larryslobster7881 , the only thing awkward would be if music were added for no other reason than to break silences. In a technical video, it would just be wrong. It is alarming that some people are bothered by the sound of silence.
