Nice, has a touch of Mellotron upper mid range to cut through but nice rich warm cellos. I'm guessing you could cut the mids for a warmer pad sound as well? I've been searching for the perfect string sound on the Nord. I'm thinking it will need some velocity switching between the 3 synth layers to get the best marcato attack on faster parts but then a gentler warm soothing pad sound for the slow stuff. Might have to investigate your string pack a bit closer!

As much as I like the Nord S4 I think the Korg Nautilus is the best for warm strings, it is also near $3000 cheaper! Really hard to justify the price of a Nord.

Yeah this one I built to be brighter, but I have some that are warmer/pad type string sounds in my string pack. Using multiple layers with velocity switching would be cool, I'll have to mess around with that on the NS4 and maybe put a video together!

@@Echochamber79The problem with the Nautilus is the build quality. I feel like Korg should have kept the Kronos brand rather than the Nautilus tbh
