Thank you so much! I just bought a Nordstage 4 88 a couple days ago. But I ran into a problem. It turns out that it only has 1GB of memory. That's too little. Considering that for example my old Korg KonosX has much more memory. For such an expensive instrument like Nord nowadays it is very strange to offer only 1GB... And even if I want to load some piano - then I have to unload other pianos, but a lot of programs that are linked to pianos that I delete to load a new piano will stop working... It's very strange... It's very interesting to try your pianos. Thank you!!!

The Nord Stage 4 has 2GB memory for the pianos, a separate additional 1GB for samples. It's more than sufficient for everything, especially compared to my old Nord Electro 3.

@@midinotes But, when I open the management software, I see that I'm given about 100mb of memory. This is because NORD comes with pre-loaded piano sounds. So in order to load your kit, I have to free up memory. And then a lot of presets stop working. I've already tried that. When buying such an expensive instrument I get used to the fact that if I play pianos that were there when I bought this instrument and that are shown when advertising this instrument - this I consider as a "factory set" that should be in the instrument. And, when I buy an instrument with those sounds, they should not take up my allotted memory. And it turns out that I can't load anything now, because all 2GB are already initially used by what is advertised as "factory sound". As a result, if I want to load your set, I have to erase a lot of stuff from NORD. Then what was advertised is lost. This is very inconvenient. Personally for me such memory capacity as for 2024 is just a trifle. I perceive such behaviour of the instrument as a deception of the buyer. Always when I bought other tools - I was given as much free memory as the manufacturer stated. But the point is different. I tried to upload to you the pianos I deleted, but with a smaller capacity. To save memory. But I ran into a huge problem! All the presets that used those pianos just stopped working! How did that happen? I loaded the same piano that these presets need, but they don't see it because the piano version just takes up less space. I spent 2 hours manually reconnecting the piano presets to the new versions of the Umentation samples. BUT! Now the problem is with the software. For example, if I load a programme that uses a reconstructed piano and it doesn't see it yet - as soon as I specify this piano - for some reason the synth section crashes! If before the restoration of the piano played beautiful PADs, then as soon as I switch the piano - instead of Pads start playing ACCORDEONS! What does reconnecting the piano section have to do with the synthesis and sample section? In general I lost half a day and realised that it is not realistic to use pianos that are smaller in volume. And therefore it is impossible to optimise memory. It is extremely outrageous that the control software is so stupid that it doesn't automatically reconnect presets to the less heavy versions of the piano. One last thing. I sincerely want to be wrong about this, so that you could correct me and say "So everything works correctly, you just need "this and this"", that it would turn out that such an expensive instrument could not simply create stress on such fundamental things. If I don't find any solution, I'll have to make a video review of these problems.

@@midinotes Oh, yeah, by the way. I forgot to mention. After I downloaded your free set of pianos (deleting the ones in NORD) and tried to get some pianos back, but smaller and when trying to fix presets that lost their own pianos - the programmes just crashed. I wasted a lot of time and ended up having to just re-download the factory Nord presets. I write this not to say that because of your set I had to reset NORD to factory sounds, but to say that when programmes do not see their own pianos - you have to restore everything. It is very strange and not convenient. Maybe, for example, there are ready sets of presets and programmes for the more reduced versions of pianos, which are already connected initially to these versions? But then how to load them, so that they would fit "in their places, for the right numbers"?
