Thank you Douglas for these in-depth videos. I am considering upgrading from the Oxygen 49 MK IV to the Pro 61 and your videos are really helpful and informative. You mentioned previously about a couple of bugs/issues you encountered, and I've read about a few issues elsewhere, but I see that M-Audio have not yet provided firmware updates for any of the Pro controllers. It would be awesome if you could post a quick video if/when a firmware update is released. Thank you.

INC means "Include" or "Inclusive",... as in include the top and bottom notes in up/down mode, meaning each gets played on each pass, or, as you put it, the top and bottom notes get played twice... sometimes. Playing a triad in Inclusive Up/Down mode wi trigger I-iii-V, V-iii-I, each cycle. The opposite is usually called N/C mode, for "Non-inclusive." Here, you'll trigger I-iii-V-iii-I each cycle, or... top and bottom notes only sound once.

I ended up getting something different BUT if you’re starting out/on a budget just go for the mini. If you’re a pianist and on a budget (meaning you can’t go with the 61 or something higher) then go with the 25 (the keys on the mini will feel terrible to you)

Thanks! You can, but it takes a little workaround. First, split the arpeggiator and chord/scale mode onto two sperate portions of the keyboard. This allows you to turn both on at the same time. Then you can go back and edit the split points so they overlap so you can use them together. Not sure if this is by design or a bug, but in the end, it gets you where you need to be!

Hi there, as far as I’m aware, the Yamaha PSR S770 does not have DAW control capabilities. I believe all you are able to do is just transmit the notes you are playing to the DAW.

@@DSoundman actully I am very much beginner and tried to set up the controls through midi map in Abelton. Some of those features are activating and some parameters are getting operated too. But I am not able to save those settings. Also there are some instructions in booklet which is having some details. But I am not able to work it out. You people being PRO can sort it out. Also there are some presets in YAMAHA PSR S 770 for MIDI controlls. So I guess it can be used as midi controller if people like you can find it easily

Hello @DSoundman I recently bought an Oxygen Pro Pro 49 and is coming home. I thought that having a midi Out it would be enough to sync the internal arpeggiator with my external Hardware sequencer . But it might be possible to still use the internal arpeggiator and note repeat functions , recording straight in to the xternal sequencer , while being in clock ? ...

Hi there. I've got 49 keys version. When I hit arp mode there is no sound , the chord and scale mode work well. Does anyone has similar problem ?

Please if you own one (I own the 49) I’m trying to get a “DeckSaver” (no don’t work there) hard plastic cover perfect for transport with soft bag! But they don’t make for M-Audio yet and takes a few inquiries to make it worth their while to “tool up” to actually make the covers. I WANT one, they’re really nice, protectively functional... I just need interested to reach out, go to decksaver.com! “Tool up for M-Audio!”
