There are as many kind of gunner glasses as there are sunglasses, unless you mean a specific brand (which I haven't recognized on Philbert). Their optical quality tends to have a strong correlation with price, but their main purpose is to protect the eyes from anything flying at the range like gunpowder residue and spent shells, and a proper proper pair also has side protection.
