As someone who's not a computer wizard I found Windows XP to be the most approachable and easier to navigate than modern Windows. But of course XP is not usable with modern internet. Anyway I was just using the computer to write my autobiography(which is finished) and my upcoming memoirs(which is too complex) and then the last book of how certain things can be legal in NY. Anyway while the newer Windows are more wildly used some of us that are not too tech savvy prefer older ones.🤔

The boot partition bug where it puts it on the second drive can be worked around using a console command just Google it then you can just make the new partition on the c drive where its supposed to be soo of the other drives dies you not shit out of luck

It is extremely rare so I won't side with Phil here. I have, however, had a few machines where installing Windows on a blank drive while another drive (one drive letter assigned to one partition claiming the whole drive) was present in the system... Windows decided that the secondary drive should have the booloader on it and then resized the one and only partition on it to fit the boot partition at the beginning of that drive while installing Windows on the partition it created on the blank drive. This caused the secondary drive to not "show up" in the Windows Explorer as that partition was now treated as hidden and made me think that the drive had been formatted. I had to fix this for a friend after an install on a machine with the same situation. I had to download and use a BCD editor to transfer the bootloader to the primary drive like it was supposed to be in the first place, reboot the system, then use a partition editor to remove the boot partition from the data drive and finally expand the partition on the secondary drive back to the way it was before Windows decided to alter that drive's contents. It's rare, but when it happnes... it's awful!
