What can you do with the gh-10 set? Was looking to buy this along with their drill bits but its sad they're 0.1mm too thick to fit in
@KarlScaleModeling
@KarlScaleModeling 14 күн бұрын
Hello, the GH-10 Burr Set bits have a 3mm shaft and are dedicated to be used with the Dspiae ES-P rotary tool, which also has a 3mm opening. They can be used for various applications like sanding and drilling. Not sure about the drill bits problem, maybe they're 3.175mm. That's also a common diameter when it comes to modeling tools. Hope that helps 👍🏼

Nice size too to handle, just limited to the bit size shanks at 3.0 mm. I had mine machined out to fit 1/18 shank bits and now it's worth the price.

Hello Joe, yes the size and weight is amazing to work with. Even the power, can't complain about that too because it did a good job at every piece of work I threw at it! Obviously, model related.. didn't try to drill the wall with it 😀 yes the 3mm limitation is boring as it limits us as to what bits can be used with it. The adapter shank is helping me a lot right now. Glad you managed to machine yours to a 1/8 shank, I'm sure you're using it much more now with that modification. Thanks for your message 👍🏼👍🏼

@@KarlScaleModeling Thank you for the fast reply Karl ! With the 1/18 capacity it handles everything in my model toolbox. Great video on the tool review, looking forward to more videos from you Karl ! Cheers !

Thanks Joe, I'm glad you like my video review ☺️ that's amazing that with the 1/8 modification you can now use all your bits into the Dspiae tool. You can now use it to its full potential, not just with a 3mm bit. Unfortunately my model tool box has bits with different diameters so a variable solution is what's needed. That's why I'm currently using that cheap adapter, but I'm looking for a better alternative ☺️👍🏼

Great video. I also have the Galaxy version which takes 2.35 mm shank dremel bits. I probably will get another Dspiae one and drill it to 3.18mm for 1/8 shank bits . I like using the 5 & 10 mm sanding disks which are 3mm ,don't want them to wobble

Thank you for your feedback William, that's very appreciated and so glad you like the video ☺️ I can see that people are literally modifying the original chuck of the Dspiae tool, never had thought about that! I use different diameters of bits/tools so I would like a flexible option for it. My cheap adaptor does a good job for now, but I'm looking for something more durable and rigid 👍🏼 I did see the Galaxy one and it looks quite good too. Drilling to 3.18mm and then installing 3mm bits.. I would be afraid that they'll wobble even after tightening both allen screws. Dspiae should have issued a flexible chuck right away 😀👍🏼

Стоматологические фрезы и боры с диаметром хвостовика 2,4 мм подойдут или только 3 мм?
@KarlScaleModeling
@KarlScaleModeling 8 ай бұрын
Hello, the chuck accepts 3.0mm bits. If you insert 2.4mm ones they will most likely wobble since they would not be perfectly in the middle of the chuck. Hope that helps.

If you're looking for more drill like bits for the Dspiae sanding grinder you might want to buy the Galaxy Tools adapter shank, T09K11 and its drill bits.
@KarlScaleModeling
@KarlScaleModeling Жыл бұрын
Hello Emilio, thank you very much for the suggestion. That's very appreciated because it's a great idea. I bought a universal drill chuck with a 3mm shaft and I'm still waiting for it to be delivered and try it out. Hearing that the T09K11 is a perfect match, I'll definitely search and buy that because I want to use the Dspiae grinder for different uses. Thanks again ☺️👍🏼

Looks the perfect tool for delicate work in awkward areas with... maybe less aggressive tools? Shocked at the torque, fer something so small. Dunno I could stump up the wonga for it, I like my MFA-Comos. Nice show-n-tell. 👍

Hello there Steve, thank you very much for your feedback. That's appreciated and so glad you like. Yes it is quite torquey, I tried to push it hard on the surface of the plastic and it didn't stall! If it was my bigger rotary tool, it would have definitely stalled!

Через 15 минут использования зашумел подшипник (щелчки), через 2 дня его полностью заклинило, одним словом «Китай». Но те первые 15 минут использования дарил экстремально позитивные впечатления, возможно мне попался брак.

Hello Kmakaot, thanks for letting me know about this. I have used this tool many times now and so far I didn't have any problems. But I haven't used it hard, only small jobs. Hopefully I won't have problems when it comes to polishing a whole car body ☺️👍🏼

Very inconvenient chuck I must say.
@KarlScaleModeling
@KarlScaleModeling Жыл бұрын
Yes, have to agree about that. I prefer a conventional chuck that is adjustable to any shaft diameter you might want to use. I got this to be used with their polishing pads, so for me it's not a big problem. But I still would have loved using other bits on it ☺️

Thanks for your feedback 👍🏼 I had some coupons when I bought this, so can't complain about price 😊 but the 3mm chuck limitation is something I'm not happy about! Would have been better if it was an adjustable one 😏
