DT 350 XD Driver Conversion

So ,basically the same DT 350 12x148 hub ,can fit Shimano HG , Sram XD and Shimano Micro Spline adapters ? I'd like to try Microshift advent 10 speed ,but also have the option for Shimano 12 speed . Thanks in advanced.

Nice informative video. These cassettes seem to be getting bigger and bigger. As you emphasised the DT Swiss hubs are a simple but extremely effective design , not much to go wrong. Need to purchase a set of the soft jaw vice clamps. Thanks Joey , top class 👍👍

You're welcome Paul! We were working on a Chris King R45 hub the other day, and doing the same conversion. Would've made a good video as it's way more involved, but we were just too time crunched. Seems like all the mountain bikes here in Colorado are using these Sram Eagle cassettes. Thanks for your awesome feedback!!

I have a 141 boos frame. I used the 135mm qr end caps to adapt my 350 hub to my frame. Do you have any idea if the 135mm qr will work with the XD driver or will I need to machine it down to fit?

Hi. Thanks for the video. I need to do the same. I have some q. On ebay, I see SRAM XD Drivers with 3 pawl, what is this? Is this WHT you got? Did you get it on ebay? I have dt swiss 350 mtn bike wheel . I want to put SRAM 11 SPEED Cassette. So, I need SRAM XD Driver right? With 3 pawls? Thanks in advance.

The ratcheting mechanism is dependent on the hub itself. The XD driver is generally for 12 speed eagle cassettes.

@@JoeyMesa I have bought all parts for 11 speed. Does this mean the XD-DRIVER from eBay will not work on my DT-SWISS 350 hub? Do you know what correct driver I need for 11speed on dt-swiss350?

I thought you’d need XDR hub for 11/12 cassette? I’m in the process of converting my new wheel set to use SRAM 1195 and wondering which free hub I should buy, thanks

You only need the XDR for smaller large cog 12 speed SRAM cassettes from Red and Force AXS road cassettes. Anything with a 10 tooth or smaller small cog on MTB applications uses the XD driver except for Shimano which uses their micro spline driver. Anything with an 11 tooth small cog uses the standard Shimano/Sram free hub body.
