One of the coolest things that happened to me was as I was exploring, I wondered into a cave and found a lvl 60 glowing death claw. I was only lvl 22-26 at the time. I tried cheesing inside of a bus until an army of scorched and a flying scorched beast I think lvl 30 came around and started fighting the deathclaw allowing me to run away safely. I did fall once but thanks to a legendary armor mod that revived me with a stem pack allowed me to live long enough to see this cool experience

When you're talking about the boss changes it sounds like you missed that they are getting their damage mitigation reduced. While they are getting more health, they will also be taking just as much more damage; Scorchbeast Queen and Ultracite Titan are getting 233% more health but also taking 233% more damage, and Earle is going to take 400% more damage to match it's 400% increase in health, and in every case it appears they are having their radiation immunity rescinded. It shouldn't take any more bullets to kill them after the patch then before it, and in many cases it may even take fewer bullets. BTW, the perk changes look to me like they're playing around with new effects and/or changes to existing mechanics, I do not believe those are going to actually be the new effect of those perks. The cards they changed were all seldom used, and the effect on Vaccinated is how disease resist already works before any gear or perks are applied.

The Damage mitigation is not going to be Reduced, it will be Removed entirely. That is a kinda nerf to Commando Crit builds, because crits bypassed the Mitigation (So every second shot does full crit damage) But you are still gonna do the same damage.

That sucks. I was hoping they'd make the bosses tougher, or make one of the events where you can't just stand in the open because they can two shot anyone or three shot the highest armor and damage resistance you can have in the game, no matter how fast you heal, if you don't get to cover. I wanted it harder, not making the game easier for preschoolers to beat. Some of us want it tougher, not easier. After soloing Eviction Notice, the game needs a much harder event that makes people need others to help them. Like make it impossible for a solo player to win.

Legendary Crafting will not be better if it changes - Saw a guy scrap 40 legendaries, it only gave him 2 modules and one plan. This is not better at all. At least with rolls you have a chance to get something decent right away. They should convert cores to modules based on some kind of fair conversion rate.

I mean, to be fair, it's a pve game, so ANY build is "viable," you just won't rinse things as quickly as you can with min-maxed builds. I've been using a full health commando build with overeaters armour, and there's very little that poses me any sort of serious threat unless I'm not paying attention during Eviction Notice and I get wiped by the rads rubber breaking.

Did everyone miss that the bosses are going to be taking more damage? 233% more health, but also taking 233% more damage. The health changes look to just be an adjustment so hits appear more meaningful and may also reduce how often they need to deal with fractions of a health point and rounding.

The railway rifle changes are a nerf to commando, but a buff for the riflemen. It costs more AP to use the auto receiver than in the live version, but it costs less AP for the standard receiver compared to live.

Now, if I understand this right... The thing I'm worried most about Best Builds, is potentially having your camp site blocked by someone who isn't even present on the server, across all servers it sounds like? Then, there's also the potential to have people BLOCK the Best Builds location, if Bethesda rules in favour of an already active camp site taking priority. I suppose one way to fix this, would be having each server displaying a different camp build from the list, so if you're blocked in one, you can just move to another server?

No Mans Sky has a system like this, but the difference is, NMS is a persistent universe. 76 is not. Its a bunch of isolated, separate servers. I suspect that the best builds will only be showing bases of ONLINE players and if you can visit those bases from an access point you will be loading into the server that that player is active on. I could be wrong, but I genuinely suspect this is how a system like that would work in a game like this. The fact that the Best Builds rotate every hour only further leads me to believe this.

The legendary crafting update sounds cool! I just recently started playing and am getting to the point of crafting legendaries. Now not sure if I should just try to save as many legendaries as I can or try to craft now Excited for the Halloween event! Im a big Halloween aesthetic enjoyer! I really wish there was a way to get the glowing skeleton costume, knowing that existed and I can't get it kills me. I was looking at some of the older Halloween atom shop items, hoping some of those also come back.

it would be really cool for them to give us some perk cards or mutations for elemental damage types and things like poison/acid/ bleed and a legendary effect to convert all ballistic or energy damage to a type for that weapon type you could then put on the legendary conversion effect with legendary crafting and then all of a sudden you have incendiary ammo on your combat rifle or dragons breath on your shotgun, freezing rounds for your minigun that slow enemies while you mow them down it'd come with some nice special effects depending on what conversions you get and would be really satisfying to play around with.

I’d really like it if they gave the boss some decent drops. If I’m going to be dumping my entire stash of ammo on a boss, I’d like to be rewarded decently for it. If you’re on a server with 2-3 other players over level 300 and everyone else is sub 100 you’ll probably never finish killing the boss. Not only are the bosses getting an insane health boost, but criticals no longer bypass the damage reduction bosses have. This, in combination with the massive railway nerf, means bosses will be unbelievably hard to kill and take an insane amount of ammo and many players to kill it. This is very concerning as not many people even go to boss events anymore. I did earl with 2 other people yesterday. Thanks to my groll railway, we took him down, but with these changes there is no way we could've killed him. I really hope they reevaluate these changes. Bosses do not need more health.

It makes it incredibly easier to build the items you actually want. You simply scrap legendarys and build up the materials needed for the perfect armor set and weapons for your build. Then you take them to a workbench and make the items. So much less RNG in that.

A lot of changes. Lots of comments options however what irritates me most is the idea of making regional bosses so strong. Why? How often you play and see a bunch of well prepared players taking for instance Earle Williams down and they slowly succed. And then with bethesda rebalance it becomes almost unstoppable. And I foresee the amount of resources to waste on one event, it's not worh it. Who will go for it? What for? To get ONE legendary? I wonder if somebody tried this event on pts already? Tell us how it feels!

Is the mod going to be weapon specific or you can say scrap a bloodied pipe pistol and then use the bloodied mod on any other type of weapon?

@@cam56k For me, I guess it's because I find them, and expeditions, quite a lengthy way of earning a daily. I'd rather reroll them, power through them, and then focus on the bits of the game I actually want to invest time in, so I tend not to bother server-hopping unless I want to. It's just a personal thing, really.

@@cam56k Yeah, and that's totally fair enough. I've not seen anything coming out of the Pit or Atlantic City that I'm desperate to get, so they're a bit pointless to me, as are the Daily Ops. The main thing I'm working on currently is getting a whole bunch of legendaries from all categories with the -90% weight reduction, as I'm building a camp that has a gun shop in it, and I don't want to blow my entire stash budget on guns that are just there for display purposes.

Id rather see them get rid of trade limits at vendors and make it so you can put junk in camp. Seems like it would be easy.

Before they introduce this best builds thing into the game they need to make all camps protected from damage. I can see many griefers abusing this mechanic to show up and destroy camps. Not even sure why destroy camp is still an option anyway. Another nerf to weapons. Big freakin surprise. Seems like the only thing Bugthesda is able to do is nerf the crap out of stuff. Balance does not exist. Daily ops is more of a pain in the ass than worth doing. To get ammo you have to run around the entire area after completion and hope you can find it all. It gives you such a minute amount of ammo back in rewards so you spend way more than you earn back. The one shot kill from enemies is frustrating and it takes a bit to get back to your last position. Also, with no new rewards or plans to earn what's the point in wasting ammo to do ops?

These boss changes I feel will divide the community especially if they’re nerfing the best stuff to kill them it’s gonna make all the end game fleshed out builds who usually carry all the nooby food builds in boss events to where now it’s gonna take more people and more time to kill said bosses so if there’s not enough fleshed out dps builds I can see a lot of the events failing or just taking too much time and resources to complete which means no one will want to do them

Sad that they're implementing individual legendary effect crafting, rng was much better for the longevity of the game. Kids who want instant gratification won't stay in the game anyway, they just move on to the next dopamine rush.

I really hope they take out camouflaged enemies for daily ops, it's easily the most annoying thing that can happen and it gets worst when it pairs with deadly piercing damage
