Hello, which printer do you think is the best DTF? I have an Oki Pro8432WT A3. The print is hard and rustles to the touch. Don't you know a better printer? :) I don't have money for DTG :) Sorry, I don't speak English very well...

We think our printers are the best for DTF ;) But we had them custom built for our commercial uses over 2 years of research and development. In all honesty, we actually don't recommend buying a DTF printer right now as the quality for affordable printers is just like you describe and quality replacement parts, inks and films are hard to find in stock. Once the market stabilizes and there are reliable and consistent supplies then it may be more beneficial. For now just order DTF transfers and focus your time on something else other than tinkering with color management software, printheads or troubleshooting.

Did you mention anything about durability for the direct to film? How many washes will it hold up before fading
@transferexpress8 ай бұрын
Our UltraColor Max direct to film transfers are independently lab tested for 50+ wash cycles. Some of our decorators have tested with results that far exceed the lab tests with cold wash and tumble dry settings without fading or cracking.

Thanks for sharing. Very interesting.

My experience with DTG is that the prints are not very vibrant or sharp. They appear somewhat faded and slightly blurry. I think the tech has to improve significantly to avoid customer complaints.

Not all Direct to film is the same- With the market flooded with inexpensive printers, there's definitely some quality inconsistencies. Our fleet of proprietary DTF printers was developed over two years to bring a hot peel, low temperature application to the market, with superior ink density and vibrant colors. Which DTF prints are you using? We'd love to send you some free samples to compare! Request yours here: www.transferexpress.com/marketing-tools/free-samples

I think it is.

There still may be a place for it, but we'd agree, with recent advances in apparel printing DTG is feeling the heat from DTF.

@@transferexpressHow do advances in DTF help the breathability and flexibility of large prints? What I don't like about DTF is how thick and stiff it can feel.
