Die DTM ist wohl die einzige Rennserie wohl es keine Track limits gibt 🤷‍♂️🏁

What is the différence between DTM. And GT3?

They use regular GT3s. The racing format with one driver per car is unique and the skill density is by far the highest in all GT3 racing.

Bin eher neulich zu GT3 Rennen gestoßen und das ist jetzt auch das erste DTM rennen was ich sehe (Steht doch für Deutsche Touring Meisterschaft eigentlich, oder?) Aber wie kann es sein dass im ersten rennen schon chmapionship contender gibt? Und sollten dass nicht Touring Wägen sein bei der DTM? bin bisschen verwirrt 😅

Hallo :) Ja, ursprünglich steht DTM für Deutsche Tourenwagen Meisterschaft, bzw. später dann für Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters, es waren auch bis 2020 Tourenwagen, es wurden Prototypen der sogenannten Class 1 gefahren. Allerdings konnte die Serie so nicht mehr weitergeführt werden, da alle Hersteller bis auf BMW ausgestiegen sind. Also wurde die Serie erneuert und als GT3 Serie neu gestartet, die komplett auf Kundenteams basiert. So ungefähr lief das Ganze ab, ich bin jetzt auch nicht 100%ig detailsicher, aber ich denke es trifft den Kern der Sache :D Und es handelt sich hier um das 15. von 16 Saisonrennen. Da allerdings an jedem Wochenende 2 Rennen gefahren werden, ist es hier das Rennen 1 dieses Wochenendes.
