i think once you see what’s Taemin capable of and what’s Jimin capable of then you can understand why they get along so well... Taemin is widely considered the best dancer in Kpop. He's fluid, he's one hell of a popper, and he breaks gender stereotypes with his dance. The intensity and discomfort you mentioned are probably because he's famous for dancing what are typically "female" styles of dance. So seductive. Most people liken him to MJ and Prince. You should watch his dance practices for a good look at his dance skills. Music videos don't show the dance as well.

Taemin....what is there to say about this MV, it was just spectacular in every way, a masterpiece! One of the most interesting and best music videos I have ever seen (and I have seen a lot of MVs). Hey, just caught something: the hands stretching out to Taemin from both sides from black stretchie foam-like material (not sure what to call it, it's a theatre-like material), the imagery was similar to SUGA's "Interlude: Shadow" performance in the ON:E concert but using white material. Taemin is unique in the Kpop world. There is no one who can do what he does...seriously. With every comeback, Taemin gives us something new and pushes the boundaries of Kpop. He just keeps getting better and better. I've listened to the entire Act I album, and it's a masterpiece.
