Taemin is so great because he offers an alternative to the hyper-masculinity that so often is promoted in Rap music and in our society in general. This is really a great performance and I know there will people who will be turn off of it because of Taemin's perceived femininty. I hope that through this performance people may come to see femininity and masculinity as two side of the same coin we all possess, and can use.

Yes, some people fixate on that perception and/or want him to be feminine, but I don't find Taemin feminine at all. I think he is just an extraordinarily beautiful young man...but a man nonetheless.

Taemin's 'Never Gonna Dance Again' album is really a masterpiece. All songs including b-side tracks also bops, I really think each of the song deserve an MV/video performance. My most favourite tracks are waiting for, stranger, black rose, just me and you, clockwork, criminal, and definitely 2kids. Oops I almost mentioned all of the songs :') for famous I like the original version more (jp ver) and for Nemo I like the acoustic version more (when he sang it during 1st vlive).

Taemin (Shinee/SuperM) is one of Jimin's best friends. They, together with Kai of Exo & SuperM, HaSungWoon of Hotshots/WannaOne, etc) are members of the Padding Squad (Parkas Friendship). They go out, eat and drink together. However, because of BTS' busy sched, Jimin hasn't been with them since late 2018. But, they communicate. Jimin even promoted Taemin's solo act in @bts_twt official twitter account.

Are you starting to follow Taemin? He's iconic, his songs/MVs are sensuous and luscious, I could go on...But when you see Taemin the person, he's gentle, kind, generous, warm-hearted, soft-spoken - so different from how his company promotes him. Maybe because he has so much talent and that body/face! You have a plethora of his solo stuff to go through as well as from his current group Super M (they are very active right now promoting their album). Thank you for reacting to this. It's my favorite from the album and the performance nailed it for me. I thought you would like it too. One of the key areas where Taemin and Jimin differ can be seen in this performance. Taemin is taller and very svelte. He has the classic dancer's physique, and he is extremely diligent in keeping it that way. Jimin on the other hand is shorter and stockier with a very compact body and more muscled physique. Because of this, Taemin tends to be more quick, fluid and graceful in his movements, whereas Jimin is more powerful, explosive, and incorporates more acrobatic elements to his performances. Both styles are appealing depending upon which you prefer. Taemin did put on more muscle for his "Move" comeback, but he felt it interfered with his fuidity, and he didn't like it.
