Catfish Glow Bobbers and Shrimp!

Another great trip throwing some bobbers and shrimp for Catfish. I even tried glow bobbers and live scope.

I was out there on the chain in the morning on the 20th. Me and me nephews did better in the dirty water than the cleaner water! Thanks to you we were able to get onto some great channels!!

From my experience, at least during ice which might translate over to open water. The cats there completely shut off during that dusk period where there's still a little bit of light left. But will start to pick back up about an hour or so after sunset. Glad to see they're still munching out there. The hot bite should be starting soon in a few weeks here!

Try brining your shrimp or using sea salt to make it tougher. I add minced garlic, catfish cocktail from procure or grind up some mackerel and it to the shrimp overnight. Works good for channels

Crooked lake in Andover has some 20+ pound channels. I have seen them, never caught them though. I’m going to be trying this weekend 😅
