Family loved it so much they asked me to make a second batch which I also doubled the recipe but made these slightly smaller lol didn't really make a difference cause after shaping them while waiting for the oil to get hot they rise again 🙌🏽😍 The dough was so soft! Thanks you so so so much!! 4th time ever making Vetkoek and 1st time its actually come out perfectly right and not solid like a rock!🙌🏽😂🤣🖤 (Use warm water).🤣🤣

Hi may I asked if u doubled every single ingredient even the yeast cause I too would like to make a lot but don't know the measurements when I make it like the video I get at least 15 every time and can I leave the dough overnight to rise ?
@cocolimeadams4614 жыл бұрын
@@raveenasidel2613 Hey😊 Yes you double everything. If you leave anything out or not use the correct measurements it could ruin everything lol. This is the Best recipe I've found so far and sticking to it. When I double it comes out to about 28 palm sized ones. I've never left it to rise overnight I normally put it in a silver bowl cover it with Cling wrap and leave it in the sun, literally 20min later it rises so fast that it almost over flows😅🤣🙆🏾♀️ I don't think it will rise as good if you leave it overnight in this weather of ours. This winter won't let things prosper 🙄🤣🤣🤷🏽♀️
