@bilbo3962 күн бұрын
People generally don't care much about her work as a writer. Most are more interested in her political views, which she promotes using her fame as a writer. She has also been known to speak very negatively about Poland. Her work is often overshadowed by her political activism.
@boguslav9502Күн бұрын
A more astute author criticized her quite well, his name was Lem.
@wiktorrrrr2Күн бұрын
@ i wouldnt call him astute, his and hers genres of books are totally different, he criticized ONE of her works, and suddenly people think its an argument to hate her. Lem is strictly futuristic, sci fi, avant garde, while olga is not as much. and i dont know about you, but i dont form my opinion based on solely one opinion of other person. you have to be original.
@wiktorrrrr2Күн бұрын
@@boguslav9502 if u see only political beliefs of an author and not her work, then its not even a valid argument against her. she has a noble prize for gods sake. acknowledge it or live in your baseless hatred.
@boguslav9502Күн бұрын
@wiktorrrrr2 the noble prize is political, and has been for years. It's a literally meaningless award for midwits to fawn over. There is a reason she isn't commonly read, and given the choice between for example Sienkiewicz and her works, nearly everyone prefers the former.

i think the process that the meat is eaten in is the important part because it puts you in touch with how the animal lived and what is required to turn that animal into food. i think more responsibility should be available for people who want to eat meat, and that should benefit everyone. also better plant based diets can help this process. the only reason at this point that things like bad meat trade occur is greed. we have the technology to create a sustainable food cycle, and what needs to change most is the overall level of human discipline, as well as an understanding that what is desired is a moderation and medium approach, not an extreme change in either direction toward meat consumption or total veganism. mainly because the same problem of responsibility applies in the direction of farming, in that harmful environmental and lifestyle practices can occur by such things as improper land fertilization, worker comp, etc, once again only caused truly by greed since we have the technology for proper education and the limiting factor is our discipline and ability to work together.

Geez, I was really interested in the talk until the astrology came up. I understand symbolism, art etc, but exchanging therapist for astrologer.... It is at least harmful for people who are in need of real help.
@elle71932 сағат бұрын
In my opinion therapy is only a bit more scientific than astrology. I know it's getting better with time, but still it's not a science like biology or Physics. You have people people benefiting a lot from it, you have those who decline and those who stay the same. And I've gone through multiple terapie throughouth the years. Astrology at least doesn't claim to be scientific

It's painful to know that animals live and die in pain because of us. Why don't we try to change something instead of pretending that nothing bad is happening? If people want to eat meat, they can, but we should AT LEAST change the standards of keeping and killing these innocent creatures. Why is killing fun for some people? Why do some people have to eat meat every day? We can change this and stop being cruel and insensitive. We need to teach these things in schools because empathy is something that needs to be taught because we are not born with it.
