Stating the obvious, but Patti's command of the English language, even when expressing simple ideas, is mesmerizing.

It's so sad because there is no one like her from the new generation. There will never be another legendary singer like her because we live in an extremely materialist society where being selfish and selling your soul to make a shit load of money has become the norm.

But only very small group of people can make a "shit load of money". The majority is very far from this possibilities. The majority sells souls for nothing 😮

I was so interested when I stumbled onto this interview. Surprised that Dua Lipa would be interested in interviewing someone like the great Patti Smith, but you can see her genuine appreciation for her work. And that is inspiring!! I’ve read the book, Just Kids, several times and I’ve listened to the audiobook, which is read by the author. The audiobook book is so intimate. It’s as if she is telling me their story directly. Thank you Robert for asking Patti to write your story. It’s a beautiful story of love!

Very few people are as giving as Ms. Smith. I salute her for the courage , and time it took to write about the life she shared with Robert. Her love is apparent as she mentioned how he gave/encouraged her to write this book. In as much, Robert, in life and death is able to maintain his agency. I already know the words from this book.will reach up and hug me. That is something I am looking forward to experiencing. When one's agency is taken from them, to say the least, it's a hard pill to swallow. My coping mechanism is to focus on the lover ( nat ) who stole my agency. It's proven to be a valuable life lesson. The good in my story is the reality that Nats pester, but eventually fly away. Thanks so much Ms. Smith, and Dua.❤❤
