So I have to have Alfaobd bypass & the Ezlynk bypass hook up at the same time? If I want to keep them hook up besides installing & taken them back off.

Both will plug into the can bus block, you should have enough ports. You may not need the bypass cable for ez lynk if you install the kaod tech as this wires the truck like the ones prior to 18+.

Just hard wire them to a park light signal and they work

What’s up with using the dimmer is that controlling the brightness of the mirror? Would I have to enable that feature for these to work

Yes these are a dimmable circuit once the harness is installed. The programming for these are in another video.

I have not heard of this, mainly the fogs will drop out when highs are activated.

Why is the cable needed? No one tried just changing the settings in some way to make the DDRL, no splice in cable?

The point of this product is to enable the feature and not have to cut into the factory harness. There is no power to this circuit for running lights like the 2019+ trucks have. This is also the easiest harness to install with no wires needing to be run anywhere else in the truck.

Does your laptop have to be hook to the ethernet when making changes?

Depends on the comms device, if you are using a BT device no but with the obdlink EX cable yes it needs to be plugged in.

Make sure you have enough storage space and that you have the paid subscription and that your os is up to date. Aside from that what exact issues are you having?

I have a question. I order the Alfaobd link over the weekend. So I got it today on ups. My question is will the unlock cable I got from ezlink for tunes. Will it work for the unlock or bypass for Alfaobd or do I need to buy a Special one for this Alfaobd

2018 + Trucks need the sgm bypass cable. To my knowledge the bypass cable that comes with programmers only allows ECM programming and not BCM programming.

@@rogerstewart5140 yes, the kaodtech bypass should stay installed and then you should be able to plug the bypass harness for ezlynk in.
