Amazing powerful machine it is. If you are riding maximum in city then you can consider Dominar 250 Also. D400's mileage is very low in city condition. On highway its mileage is 30+. So choose wisely.

My home and my wife's mother home in different district( near 125km going and return, total 250km+). I ride my bike at 70 - 80 kmph speed on highway at Night. Time :- Going Morning 4.30- 5.00am . Return Evening after 6.00pm. twice every month.

Don't worry Dual shot is more than enough. Just place the lights according to your liking and you will not disappoint with HJG lights.

Hi Vsk, No its not mandatory to use 2 different relays. You can connect with 1 relay. Its just safe to use 2 separate relays for High or Low beam. I'm using the 30 Amp fuse which comes with the harness I used.

Fog light placement on bike :- I like to place Harley style fog light below headlight because it's spreads light full road in short distance. Next dual color hjg fog light on leg guard or engine gaurd. My confussion is relay connection to both lights.

No need to add so much lights just place one pair on the leg guards and then ride for few days. Go for another light if you still need more light.

Hi Harshal, yes you can use 3 relays but keep this in mind that use only one light at a time. Don't use 2 lights at the same time it will overload your battery and wires.

Use good quality wires which can handle total wattage of your lights. Keep in mind do not use more wattage than your motorcycle’s battery otherwise you will overload you battery.

I have seen videos in KZbin ,they are using 6 pin relay for dual color fog light but your using 4 pin dual relay. Which one is very easy to connection , space saver , or best ?

I'm unaware of 6 pin relay. actually 4 pin relay is easy available everywhere. And if you are using 2 different relays for High and low beam if one of the relay fails then you have 2nd in your emergency situation.

Good demonstration 👍. I have a question. Instead of connecting the red wire to the ignition, can I connect to the rear light (not brake light)? because it also turns on when ignition is turned on. So the purpose is also same.

Hi Jyoti Ranjan, thanks for the appreciation. Yes, you can connect the wire to the rear break light. The purpose of the wire is to trigger the relay and you can connect it to any wire which turn on and cut off with your key.

Hi Sujith, I didn't tried to make my own flasher circuit yet. You can go for HJG harness with flasher feature inbuild. But that harness only works on single light (not for on Hi-low beam LEDs). If you have a flasher circuit let me know may be I can help you to connect that circuit in my harness connection.

You have to find this wire behind your main headlight. This wire is connected to the Key (Ignition Switch) of your bike. In each bike this wire is different. You can watch my installation video there was 4 wire connection socket.

Hi Daksh, if you want to turn on both light then you have to replace the two way switch with two different independent switches. But I don’t recommend this. There are two reasons behind it. First you will be using double the power from you battery which is not good and secondly light will get super hot, using both lights turned on it can damage the wiring and lights too.

I’m not saying you can’t do that you can do whatever you feel like. I’m just saying I don’t recommend it. Even people installed 2-3 pair of Aux light on the bikes. It all personal choice.

Hi Koushik, yes you can connect the dual color light with single relay. But I don’t recommend it. One relay will continue on load even if you switch the high or low beam. On dual relay setup your one relay will in rest mode when you will switch the beam. Its your personal preference.

I only use both fog light in highway road. In city I will cover it. When I am using fog lights I don't like to use main headlight only parking lights will be on. My plan is one switch for Harley style fog light , another one for dual color fog light with only one relay ( 6pin ). Is it possible or not. I am waiting for your answer.

I'll search about the 6 Pin Relay because normally in bikes and even in cars everyone is using 4 pin relay which is easily available and are not so much expensive.

My Question :- shall I use only one relay(6pin) for 3 fog lights. ? Full detail :- My bike is Discover 125m 2014 make. My ride is 50% city and 50% highway. As we seen in kilometer it's equal in three month I ride bike in city 1500 km and on high 1200 - 1500km. Problem is headlight (35watt). In city condition it's best. On highway very low. After seeing your fog light videos , I want to upgrade my bike lights like hjg dual color fog lights and one Harley style fog light.

Its not about the 6Pin or 4 Pin relay. Its about how much power of your relay has. Relays comes in so many different Power (Wattage). So you just have to choose the right Wattage. I think for you one pair is more than enough (Dual shot). Go for one pair first and ride for some time if you need than add another light.

For your reference I just want to say that these lights are now equals to the lights of the new Toyota Fortuner.

Perhaps ! Place you bike near a car and turn both their lights on and check if your bike hjgs overpower them atleast a bit !! It would be the best comparison ever ! Much love ❤️

Hi Saksham, If your car has halogen bulb then you will see amazing light difference. If you already have Xenon or LED then the light difference will be less. But it is definitely powerful lights. And you can adjust your light distance by adjusting the angle by your preference.

I done that already but I don't remember that if I put that part in the video or not. I compare with so many cars that night by driving side by side. Halogen bulbs are no way near the high beam of the HJG. Low beam is only for the Foggy situation. For your reference high beam is bit more powerful than the New Model Hyundai Creta (Top Model with LED Projector Lights). And almost equals (Not Less) to the New Model Toyota Fortuner (Projector Lights).

Hi Ratilal, yes it is more than enough or check your lights total wattage. E.g. my lights are of 72w total so my lights take idea 6-7amp power. So with safety 10amp relay is enough or go for 20amp max.

Hi Prashant, you can connect lights as you want with or without harness. There is no issue in that. HJG light works on any battery between 8-24v (check the user manual or box) If you need to extend the wires then use the harness for that if you want to.

Hi Rahul, Its the same procedure like a motorcycle. In car you can use your company fitted switches for the fog lights but you have to find the connections in the fuse box, you can find your connection if you know your car well. Or you can install new switch if you want. Other connections are same like bike you can check my installation video for more understanding.

Hi Datta, The HJG owl led’s total light wattage is 80w it will consume nearly 40w at a time. So 10Amp relay is more than enough. And use 10amp fuse. Its you choice to use one 6 pin or two 4 pin relays. There is no big difference in light output. The only difference is that if you use 2 separate relays then they work independently and if one relay stops working then you will have another one for the emergency situation.
