The second screen has a notch for one reason. This is so LG can use the same panel on both sides instead of having 2 different panels for the same device. The panels are IDENTICAL for cost savings which is why it has a notch. And it's glass on the back, not plastic.
@LukePollack3 жыл бұрын
So actually the notch is just covering up a square display that lies underneath. So while this theory does makes sense, that’s not what’s actually happening. They can still use the same panel for the second display without using a notch.

@TechnoMinute random question or maybe it is not. I just got forced out of my lg g8x by tmobile👎. Now getting velvet, no so sad about that, but I cant find dual screens for velvet anymore. Did you still have your? Are you willing to sell/charitably give?😅

if you dont have 5G in your area, TURN IT OFF, wow does it drain battery. (dont have 5G in my area) :)
@mexiguayan3 жыл бұрын
I very well could be wrong, but I think it might be the fact that you don't have 5G in your area that would explain _why_ it drains your battery so fast. If you have 5G turned on, but don't have 5G in your area, then your phone will constantly be searching for a 5G signal but not getting one, which I'm sure would drain the battery more than if your phone actually did have a reliable 5G connection. Like I said, I could be wrong, but I actually do have 5G in my area so I guess it wouldn't be worth it for me to turn it off.
