Dual Sport - Cruised Into Woods and Stumbled Onto Homeless Campsite

I turned off the road and started dodging trees on the WR250R until I ran into a mostly collapsed shelter deep in the woods. Then found a milk crate with a few things stashed in it further back. I started wondering who else was out there with me! Fun ride through the woods though before the vegetation gets too thick and I can't see the downed logs.

The whole time you were going through that garbage I was hoping you weren't going to get an accidental needle stick.

Thanks for the concern, I saw a blue cap in the garbage can around the tents and tarp that made me suspicious and on alert. I always thought the needle caps were orange, but proceeded with caution regardless! I did not see any needles.

I did do a little recon before I approached the camp and was 99% sure it was empty after circling around the back and seeing most of the structure collapsed, but the thought of a criminal or fugitive living out there did cross my mind.

First time through there this year, the campsite must have been concealed by vegetation last summer, but they would've seen and heard me out there. Congrats on your Enduro purchase, The KDX looks like a sweet bike
