I am considering the 26" Freesky Wildcat Pro Step through ebike. Same battery, paint colors, brakes, etc. but 1000w, 120nm motor. For 1200-ish bucks it seems like a good deal. Would you say that the quality of the bike you tested was good for the price? I would imagine they would both have the same quality.

Great review! Looks to be great build quality, fantastic brakes & and I love the wheels and the bright Red colour too! It's incredibly stylish looking for a step-thru e-bike! Looks like it could use a bit more power though, 'cos it looks relatively lightweight I was expecting a bit better performance. I'd say for those who aren't in a rush to get to places real fast, and are content with just gently cruising along it seems pretty perfect for the more casual of e-bikers. (Definately needs a power mod doing to it!!! 😅👍) Is the frame scratched to $hit? Or is it the design of it, 'cos when shown close-up it looks like it's been bashed around a bit 😅 The quality of the welds & the speckled paint effect look really good! I like the bit at the end where we get a great side-on view of the bike Alex (when you're stood in front of the dark curtains) in your room & hey Laura!!! Woof woof!!! The "Dotphy" e-bike helmet looks really cool!!! Dad joke "I asked my Dog 'what's 2 minus 2?"... he said nothing.

​​@@maximumchargeEV Yeah mate, I absolutely love the way it looks (apart from the scratches, unless that's how it's meant to look?!?) - I think the best bit is that rear rack, it's really cleverly done I reckon! Edit - D'oh!!! I just realised it's not scratched, it's meant to look like that, must've just been the close-up view kinda over-emphasising them 👍 It's right up there with the best looking, foldable step-thru's!!

How does the Boulevard match up to the Velotric Fold 1. My wife and I are in our mid 60s and we are shopping for e-bikes.

The boulevard has many more features, but because of that, it's heavier. I love the fold 1 and kept it for my girlfriend to use, its light weight and quiet. This however has more power, more battery, better brakes, etc. Lots of good features. It all depends what you value.
