Yes! Understood :). One more question.. I currently have gel on my nails and its not the soak off.. Can I just file them thin and prep the nail and lay the acrylic over? Or should I remove them completely ?

I know this is Anna's thread, and tutorial, but regardless of the time (and hopefully it wont be long), these are so worth the money. I have done acrylics, gels, and just recently acrygels with mine. These are so awesome, and they have an incredible C curve on them. You wont regret buying these at all. And the wide range of sizes is amazing. :)

So when you want to build up a second layer you can refill the form with acrylic and lay it right over the shiny surface and it will adhere?

Can I use gel polish over gel nail forms? I know it may seem silly but I like for my polish to last and I want to use the soak off gels along with the soak off polish but I wasn't sure if it could be done? When soaking will they all come off?

I purchased all the things to do a UV Gel extension on my nails; an epic fail! I messed it up so badly; they were coming off in less than a week. I purchased fiber glass as they didn't have the silk wraps. Now I see the dual form system and that seems to be so much easier. I am debating which is better; to use UV Gel or acrylic. Which would you say is the best to use. I have purchased a nail drill; it comes with all the things I would need; I haven't used it yet. Some people say acrylic is worse for your nails; but then again UV Gel is so time consuming to take off; hence the need for a nail drill. I have arthritis in my thumb of my right hand and that makes it very difficult to file a lot. I believe I will purchase the dual form system you spoke about in this tutorial; it seems like the better forms to use. I love all the things about it; I may not understand the DVD that comes with it, but I am sure I will understand what to do by watching. Thank you Anna, I love your videos! Are you by chance living in Japan? I am just nosey...lol I am 1/2 Japanese so I am curious. My parents go to visit every year in March or April for my mom's high school reunion. I went to Japan when I was 13 years old and would love to go back again to visit. I doubt I will go in the summer, as I did when I was 13, it was way too hot..lol

I've been using these dual system for a long time now and I can tell you that I will never go back to the old way with all that filing buffing etc. my clients love it. also I never had a problem with tis company. just call before ordering.

my gel goes in the cuticles and its hard to hold it down without sqashing it everywhere .. i didnt put alot of gel btw :S :( hard to hold it put in the lamp also… can u do a video on this also?

here is a video I did with gel dual forms. Hope it helps. The key is to do the gel in thin layers and cure in between ASP Dual Forms with UV GEL

Update: I called the contact number on the website (not the toll-free one) and spoke to customer service. I got my forms yesterday and they threw in a set for free since they didn't honor the priority mail. I'm happy that they made it right and will be using them this weekend.

for all of you having issues just shop at amazon if they seller doesn't come through amazon will refund you $$! i got some a few years back but is too much trouble , i used a marker to mark the smile to make sure it was right! make a set mark it with a sharpie and keep aside for next time the cheap ones dont come with the lines and even those aren't as accurate as using a sharpie as you all saw!

There are a lot of people with the same problem i had to wait almost 3 months. You have to keep e mailing them ( even if they dont respond) I left a lot of messages on her facebook page and couldn't believe how many people were complaining about broken items and even used brushes and dual forms. Its really a shame because the dual forms are awesome!.I also received my primer and no lines without a dropper so dont know how to use it now LOL!

It was discontinued due to fraud. Most ppl who ordered never received the product or money back so the company was sued by card company's. Go to wish or aliexpress even eBay they have the same thing for under 5$
