The reasons for why people refuse to sell inside, as said by the Aunty, 1. Safety, there are no security guards to ensure the safety and well-being of customers and merchant/sellers. This is very dangerous and many could take advantage of this to do whatsoever they want. 2. Condition and Health concerns, as you showed, the place is deplorable and it’s very dirty. The conditions within the market could raise health and safety concerns, especially for kids. As we can see, there are many kids around and about, and when you factor in the conditions, like I said, they could get sick or injured from the garbage (which could contain needles, shrapnel, bodily fluids, or the latter). 3. Cost, as we can see the amount of people selling inside differs from the amount selling outside which could be one of the causes. People inside will make less money if there continues to be people selling on the streets, which in turn takes money away from the rest.

As to the dirty floors, everyone should made to clean around their space before leaving. If they don’t they should be fine.
