I like using Dynamic (+4) for my left stick, and I use Quick (-3) for my right stick. It definitely feels the smoothest to me.

@@طلقالحجاج it's all about playing what you're comfortable with. Destiny 2 is the main game I play. And my buddy who uses this controller also prefers dynamic on his right stick. So just test out what's consistent with your play style, and go with that.

On the Sony website it says: “While you can swap L2 and R2 trigger buttons, you can’t assign another button to work as the trigger buttons or assign multiple functions to L2 and R2.” To clear up ambiguity, does this mean you cannot swap R2 to anything other than L2? Or does it mean you can swap any buttons you like, but you can’t have more than one button be a trigger (what was originally R2)? Would love to know as it’s a deal breaker if I can’t make R1 my shoot button and I’m stuck with R2

@@coke4574 you can make any button r1/r2. I’ve no idea what this originally meant but I bought an edge and it works just how I wanted it!

Just got my PS5 & everythin' hooked up & transferred today. I'm used to havin' an extension on my PS4 controller that gave me four buttons that were fully programmable. I'm kind of sad that the under buttons on the edge can't accommodate combinations I'm so used to havin' 1 of the left 1s be L1&R1

Is vibration intensity and trigger effect intensity as strong as with the regular dual sense controller? I heard the intensity is way weaker compared to the regular dual sense controller.

@sirdudenbg1264 yes im for sure. When I play God of war ragnarok or even Cod it's the exact as the regular dualsense. The main reason why most ppl probably won't mention it, due to it being the exact same or they turn off the feature altogether for fps

What if you adjusted the deadzones, and sensitivity curve settings in MW2 in-game advanced settings instead of in the dualsense edge controller settings, does one override the other? which one of the two should we use?

Man it’s a hustle trying to figure out what to do with these dead zones. My gameplay feels glitchy now and I can’t find the right settings for me on my cod or my controller.

@@ThahitmanTyrie bro, it’s been the same for me ever since I got the Edge controller. I felt like aim assist was off or something is wrong. What I notice works best as intended is to set the COD In-game settings (aim assist curve type, and deadzones) to default. (Press r3 on each settings if you changed it) this will put it back to default. Then set up however you like with the dual sense edge controller settings.

Regarding Dead Zones: the controller should work like a normal controller out of the box. Tuning is great, but be careful... you could make something worse. My recommendation? You probably don't have to tune dead zones for awhile. And if you do, go very slowly.

No, they just serve as modifiers for the other face buttons. You can’t remap them to be a button combination, for example.

i tried on the COD controller menu to set the melee on the back paddle and leave the R3 alone just to sprint, it doesn't seem to work. do i need to change that in the FN Menu?

Unfortunately no. No stick tension adjustment. As far as I know, only the Xbox Elite Controller Series 2 has the ability to manually adjust stick tension.

Wait, so you can't map the stick buttons to the paddles? I mean like in cod, how you have to click in the left thumb stick to sprint. I have that mapped to a paddle on my Xbox elite controller. You can't do that on this one? I was thinking about getting one, but I'm not spending that much money if that's not even possible.

Hey I have a PlayStation dual sense edge, and when I use it in Apex I have 0 aim assist… but when I go back to my regular dual sense I have it. Anyone having this issue? Been on phone with Sony ans EA and they just blame each other.

@@vypermajik I went to my friends house to use his ps5 to nap the dualsence edge bc I play on pc and don’t have a ps5 and u couldn’t so I made one of the paddles X and made the actual X button R3 and disabled R3 on the thumb stick bc I squeeze my controller a lot and accidentally start meleeing in warzone in the middle of firing my gun 😂
