Great point. The issue is with the future of these awesome machines. If you, an I were to say continue to ride em as I know I would love to, it would probably end in them being banned. I'm old, but still fast at heart, but if say for example I drove a 1.3L Yaris at its full speed through the centre of town, even late at night, I'm gunna be upping the risk more than say for example, running same car at same enthusiasm on an empty country road. But the footpath was empty, I saw that, it was late, I get that, but it's a place for people to walk, not a place for walking people to be on the lookout for super speed transport machines, especially quite ones.

Wow I just looked up the specs on this scooter. It's awesome. I like how lightweight it is. Similar weight to my Achilleus, but so much power and a better battery. How long have you been riding? I've been riding for a year now (about 8k miles) and I've had a couple close calls and bounced off a Toyota Tundra. I hope you don't get hurt too badly. Awesome video. 🙂👍

I have ridden a rented link scooter (up to 15mph) easily and have never crashed. I used it regularly for almost 6 months now. I think I might buy my own one now for school. I think I can handle up to 40mph but 60 seems overkill

0:54 NO NO if you on road drive like on road. do not switch bike lane. if you drive on bike lane AWESOME 15mph and range is expanded. thats beauty of kickscooter. it cost 1.5month go work same as 1 bus ticked.calculated on cirrect 10x more power cost and 60% week battery is calculated ass full charge and its still low propably 2.5 month more acurate. if go 15mph LOL

Doesn't have stabilizer at all - using adequate riding technique like a slightly bent knees with feet 1 to 7 oclock apart, backside/lower torso over the rear deck while maintaining close contact with waist and upper torso towards the handle bars using your arms/elbows hold a near 90 degree angle while staying relaxed with my grip only holding on lightly (don't want to have too much feedback through upper torso) and using my lower body/legs to surf the deck and adsorb impact using body rather than hands. A lot of it is fitness level and how much riding you do. I reckon riding mountain bikes to build core strength and riding ability

You get wobbles (which you can get them bad at highspeed) IF you aren't strong enough to push your weight down towards the neck/centre front. Its like riding a skateboard, weight distribution is important and upper body control

Do you have a Ultra 1 with the dual motor button?. Ultra 2 is always in Dual motor you can't turn it off. If your front motor won't spin make sure by raising it off the ground and see if they both spin. Could be a controller issue causing the motor not to operate

@@mce3210 Haven't gotten it yet :) I'm buying it this coming week most likely. I was debating going to the wolf king GT instead as its similar specs but WAY cheaper. Also better for bigger guys and supposedly smoother at high speeds even without a damper. I just REALLY like how well the burn e handles water with its fenders. it's REALLY good and I live in florida so that's quite important. It rains in my area every day for over half of the year.

Are you dumb? There were no road users 🤣🤣 There were a maximum of 4 cars the entire journey. And yes he shouldn't've ridden that fast on the sidewalk but a scooter is too fast to not ride on the road. Riding on the footpath at 80km/h is very unsafe and the road is the only suitable place.
