Dualtron Ultra Unboxing + Handlebar Swap!

After waiting close to 2 months, the Dualtron Ultra has finally arrived in Singapore. Kudos to Sam and the boys at Synergy Scooters who assisted with the unboxing and swap of the handlebar. If you live in Singapore, do look them up for any escooter related enquiries. They're just a bunch of guys who really love what they do.

Not advisable and I have never done that...if you’re riding the Ultra, you have lots of mileage...

I'm not riding a Dualtron but will in Due time. I own a dual motor scooter I purchased from Alibaba. Had it for about a week and I think the battery die out too fast. Not sure if thats normal. Have to do more test. I will do a review on my KZbin channel RINGOTVRAW and on ExtremeRoadViews on my scooter. Ran into a few issues already with the mud guard cracking. I may end up applying for a refund and consider buying a Dualtron. I need a reliable scooter to commute to and from work as well as to have fun without the battery dying so fast. Thanks for the advice. I won't try it cause it may destroy the battery or cause a fire.

How many hours to your scooter battery last? Lets say you wanted to go out with fellow scooter friends for a ride. How many miles are you able to get off one charge with the battery? My scooter have 3 levels of speed. I only use level 2 cause level 3 is ultra fast and scary. lol My scooter isn't a brand name like yours but it get the job done for my commute to and from work. I will be purchasing a new scooter from a Brand dealer such as Dualtron or Weped.

+DARREN WANG well, I am definitely not the appropriate authority on this matter. The Dualtrons are NOT LTA APPROVED but so are a lot of escooters out there in the market, in fact, my point is this...it’s too easy to get an LTA approved escooter and modify it entirely by yourself to make it more powerful and faster. The bone of contention is this, the dualtron is built for its performance making one of the safest escooters in the market, the same cannot be said about modifications done to an LTA approved escooter. Regardless of any escooter you buy, it is OUR RESPONSIBILITY to always ride safe and look out for pedestrians etc. So yeah, go ahead and get a dualtron for it’s performance and built quality but when the law kicks in...it may or may not be LTA approved...hope that helps...

The only thing I would say that relates to this video is that if you look a the rear swing arm where the spindle goes through it has a locking nut, but when he zooms in on the rear section it doesn't look like the spindle reaches to the end of the locking nut which means it won't lock, and if that is the case could be dangerous for him over time. I could be wrong but it looks that way on the video.

Hi men, I have a question for you. Right now I'm between the Ultra and the thunder... Do you think that the Ultra with road tires and the Magura brakes could deal with the thunder? in speed terms?

ultra and thunder have the same motor & controllers: Difference is ultra has split rims for easy tire change, road tires, mechanical brakes & v1 minimotors throttle v2 Ey3 Throttle AND thunder has LED light for show, height adjustable suspension arms, hydraulic brakes, ey3 throttle, tubeless tires (time consuming to change). Because Thunder is heavier with all add-ons it is slightly slow than Ultra... if you put on PMT 90/65 x 6.5 tires it will improve grip , ride and front wheel spin. If you dont care about the light show and want to make mods like hydraulic bakes etc, the ultra is the better base to go with, bonus is its cheaper.

Jamie Lim Very impressive. Such good scooters. I could do with the extra speed. The ex still has plenty of power but as you know tops out around 50kmh. Extra 20-30kmh on top of that would be perfect. Enjoy man.

+Md Nazri Hossain mine is the riser bar and again it all boils down to preference but if you’re taller than a riser bar will be preferred...I made a video about posture when riding an escooter, go check it out. Grips and stems are all separate components...hope that helps:)

+nicc0tine69 haven't done anything else besides the handlebar, will probably release a couple of related videos soon. No problems encountered so far...fingers crossed. Dualtrons in general are super reliable in my opinion, the EX I have still works from day 1 with no problems at all...2 years and really thrashed but still ok lol

Yes you have to buy an extra ticket for the scooter and they will run it through the metal detector to check for guns don’t let your scooter carry a firearm

Hey Jamie. I just got my dualtron ultra today and man that thing a beast!! I definitely gotta get used to it. I tried taking it full speed but I ended up just tapping on the brakes to slow down. And I will need to play around with the electric components to get everything down. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase. I loved opening the box and smelling that fresh out of the factory smell and just staring down this monster of a scooter. Its definitely not cheap, but like the saying goes " you get what you pay for". I wonder how minimotors will top the ultra.
