Jealous ass higher ups at work is definitely a thing. I been going thru it just because some females at work like talking to me and the manager thinks he is slickdaddy and hates when they talk to me.. it gets really petty I just play dumb to keep my job

I think that lot of people lack critical thinking and the simply ate his words at face value, which will change when others start to cover his answers and destroy them, but I dont think that he will be canceled.

but the issue is most people don't bother following up on things like this. And if they do they usually stick to their first thought. I said from the start I won't vilify him until I see proof. I got so much hate for it.

as far as i know from a lawyer friend the way doc stated his statement the user was 18 and the messages also about the gaming space and content creation. then my buddy went further into more of this and said that the way doc worded and why most people are misunderstanding him is he is speaking from the court case statements while twitch never asked the user there age it had to be handled like the person was a minor although the user had to be 18 to USE the chat feature on twitch. lawyer friend went further to say that doc also said he didn't know if the user felt the messages were inappropriate or not because no interview was conducted by twitch with the doc, the user, or his ex partner manager. my buddy said doc also spoke on what the investigation uncovered with twitch and there safety team and found it weird that just one chat log out probably hundreds was chosen to frame him in a light that deemed him guilty in TWITCHES eyes. also he said that the judge dismissed the case because of 2 reasons 1. the whispers where joking in nature and playful banter between him and the user. AKA locker room talk. and 2. the user or victim like twitch is painting this individual to be stated there conversation were not bad and were about gaming content creation and jokes. they proved the doc innocent in an wrong doing and took no further action Hince why twitch had to pay out his contract also due to no factual findings in the whispers presented to the judge.

i worked in law enforcement type work etc and message that wasnt even a minor they sent a joke to no one has ever even verified how old she is

this whole situation is so dumb to me lol. seems to still be a "he said she said" situation that's being judged by everyone's own moral standards and values. Me personally, i couldn't care less about it when there is no proof, no charges, no statement from the alleged victim or anything like that... Looks to me like the people who already didn't like DOC just have one more reason to not like him, the people who already did like DOC and are fans have more reason to stick by him and defend him and the people who were in the middle, on neither side, kinda stay there and maybe lean a little more one way or the other, but overall barely anything changes

Basing guilt on whether or not a victim comes to the public with their side is a pretty big red flag. This goes both ways. There was a LAWSUIT. DrDisrespect HAS the messages. If there is ANYONE who should be trying to disprove a controversy, it's HIM. Not the victim. And DrDisrespect LITERALLY admitted to having inappropriate conversations with a seventeen year old. Even if it was legal in the state the victim lived in, they are LITERALLY a child until they turn eighteen. That's pedophilia my guy. Keep waving those redflags.

The way I see it is that Dr. Disrespect was just having a conversation with a fan in his character. Dr. “Disrespect” 😅 If there was no Sexting, or explicit photos sent back-and-forth. Then this would just be a problem with social atmosphere creating their own narrative based on their own beliefs. The real issue here is a whatever is going on with twitch against Dr. disrespect. You know how it goes when somebody is very successful, and someone wants what they have without working for it. #Jealousy

It's weird both ways. What he's accused of is extremely vague for starters, but he admits to it anyways... but in a way where it's still just as vague as ever. If it's as bad as what's implied... now I'm wondering why legal actions were never taken. With the little info we actually have, I tend to believe he did something he may be ashamed of, but not anything illegal. I'd certainly be open to changing my view with more info, but with what we have idk how you can legitimately come to any other conclusion.

Yes, something like telling a joke with sexual innuendo to a 17 year old fan is a lot different than taking about sex with them or trying to meet them. The fact that there's nothing showing shutting like that and that he's never been accused of anything similar would lead me to believe that while inappropriate, it was not likely pdf shit

You act like he's going to admit it if he was guilty. They always say the same thing. We don't know what he said BUT all clues lead to guilt. Celebrity worship in this country is crazy. Nice! Thank you! I´m glad Dr planned a troll himselfe! I thougth he was booted out wrongfully, like a lot of smart people. I repeat myselfe, but: When you dont like the law, talk to your lawmakers. Dont bully law-abiding citizens. Just because a private company has a problem with someone, doesnt mean they are a problem in general and on all levels. "inappropriate" - Definition: "not suitable or proper in the circumstances". Why does everything have to be about s*x? "He shouldnt have talked to a minor in the first place" - If adults dont communicate with children, than who raises the children? And how are they supposed to transition to adulthood? It takes a village to raise a child. You dont like the "village", dont put your child there.

No dude... just no... I literally hang with kids who play Rust all the time just because they had no friends, they didn't know how to make friends. I've taught them. They are all friends with each other now. They know how to make friends. They are friends with my son as well. Who also did not have friends. That is talking to youth. That is helping them. I am not aiming my conversations at specifically young girls and making weird statements. You make a space that is SAFFFEEEE for them. He was not safe for young girls. And that is obvious. He even admitted it.

The entire thing sounds weird from the defense point "they didn't look up age of consent" etc....like dude is admitting something weird went on, and age of consent matters for both locations not just the younger person. I don’t remember people arguing anything he did was illegal - they said it was inappropriate, and he agreed. he already knew how this was being framed when he went on his “boo hoo, I’m a bad man, goodbye” vacation and left his company. nothing has changed, but now he’s back to being indignant instead of apologetic - because he can. he’ll be fine.
