Wunderschöne Interpretation dieser drei fein komponierten Konzerte mit schimmernden doch warmherzigen Klänge der genialen Sologitarren sowie gut vereinigten und perfekt entsprechenden Tönen der anderen Instrumente. Der intelligente und geniale Dirigent leitet das ausgezeichnete Kammerorchester im gut analysierten Tempo und mit sorgfältig kontrollierter Dynamik. Faszinierend vom Anfang bis zum Ende!

After one minute of this recording I almost stopped listening because the music sounded overly formulaic. I’m so happy to have continued, however, because the composition’s developmental structure proved to be so compellingly fresh within the constraints of the form. Also, the guitarist’s artistry is outstanding while the beautiful orchestrations excel in dynamic contrasts to the soloist. This is a rare gem in recomposition that should get repeated performances.
