Excellent video! QE2 opened as a static hotel and museum (soft opening) back in April 2018. Her full opening is scheduled for October 2018. She has been worked on for her new role since mid 2015 amid a lot of secrecy, and learning what's been happening with her has been tricky for the friends of mine who have contacts. I am a former passenger from back in her sailing days and she has been my favourite ship for as long as I've been a fan of ships, so seeing video footage of QE2 these days is much appreciated - thank you!

When I stayed at Emirates hotel one night, ( put up FOC because of cancellation of connecting flight ), I over looked the Union Station. It is bloody hot in Dubai.

thank you for a wonderful video. I myself do not like Dubai, I don't like all of the concrete everywhere. They took the charm of the old Dubai away, it is nothing but a way to show the world what they have. I myself would never go there, if I want nothing but highrises I would fly to Miami, at least it is not so over build there. It is too bad that they didn't try to keep the charm of the arabic world.
