Actually, they *do* have sewage and drainage systems. The thing is, not only the city, or the country, but most of the region has an arid/desert climate that is hot, meaning it receives *little* rainfall annually. Plus, this was a rare weather event. Thus, it doesn't make any sense to build a drainage system similar to the ones in cities that receive constant precipitation which falls throughout the year; such as 🇳🇱 Amsterdam, 🇩🇪 Berlin, 🇲🇾 Kuala Lumpur, 🇬🇧 London, 🇫🇷 Paris, and 🇸🇬 Singapore.

They shouldnt have used cloud seeding to get more rain because they needed rain. You have to be so careful when doing it. We did it in Vietnam during the war so that the monsoons would last longer (it lasted months longer).
