There must be tutorial shown on tv’s at the airport for using smart gates. I saw many passengers suffering coz they didn’t know how to use

Hello , I am a resident of the UAE, for how long does Smart Gate save my information ? For example if l leave Dubai and return to Dubai after eight months, will l be able to pass through the gate ? My other question is that if for some reason the gate does not allow me to enter or exit , l have to go to control passport and have enter or exit stamp in my passport or is possible to register my documents also take photo and scan my face and use Smart Gate same time ?
