Dubai Trip: Pre Boarding RT PCR Tests - Delhi to Dubai RT PCR Requirements

Hello. In this video, I will be telling you all the requirements for visiting Dubai from India in these pandemic times. Three tests are required as of now for entry to Dubai. They are
1. One RT-PCR Test done 48 hours before departure
2. One Rapid PCR Test done within 6 hours of departure at the airport
3. One RT-PCR Test after landing at Dubai
Please remember that you must carry a hard copy of negative test report to the airport. The test report must carry a QR Code linked to the original report. Also, the test has to be done at an approved ICMR Lab.

Be sure to check your name (spelling) and Passport number in the test report. Erroneous reports may lead to denial of boarding.

Sir please help me with this question If someone is traveling to Dubai on 29 jan then do they have to get the RTPCR test done on 27 or they can do it on 28(how much time will it take to get the test report) So basically will the 48hrs time get counted from the day the test was done or from the day the report came. Please confirm

Welcome Bhai. 48 hours time is counted from the time sample was collected. I will advise you to give sample around 40 hours prior to departure time otherwise your test may expire in case flight gets delayed. You will get soft copy within 12 hours and hard copy within 24 hours. Ensure that you have a hard copy with QR code.

I went by Indigo. They provide 30 kg per person. Spicejet and all others allow 30 kg I think.

I had done it at Yodhada Hospitals Ghaziabad. You can do the test on 19/12/2021 at 10 am. Reach hospital by 9 am so that you can give sample at 10 am. You can also go to other hospitals. But just ensure that your name spelling is correct. They made a mistake in my spelling and I had to waste another 3-4 hours at the hospital. Fortunately my flight was at 23:30 hrs and so I had sufficient time.

At airport we have 2 kinds of covid test. 1.Rt-pcr test whose report will be generated in 6 hours 2. Rapid rt pcr test whose report will be generated in 1-2 hour Can we opt any of the above test or only rapid rt-pcr is valid for travel?

At the airport, you need Rapid-PCR because you will need time for immigration/security check/boarding etc. You need to take the test within maximum 6 hrs prior to departure. So, RT-PCR will not give enough time for you. Thus, you need to do Rapid -PCR
