This fly reminds me of Jeff Blood's White Death. Those supposed to imitate dead fry. I had some luck on those at times. I like your tie and liked your suggestions on fishing it. I also like the variations you mentioned one might try. These will be in my fly box for next season. Thanks for posting.

Hey, great fly choice for a tutorial video making use of inexpensive material, some cool techniques that can seem a bit easier to do and the fly simply catches fish in fresh and saltwater. Change colors and sizes to see which is best in your area. Good stuff.
