What a fantastic run well done you looked really comfortable for the most part. Great video as well. Loved the way you talked through how its was feeling. Came in at 3:09 myself, big year of training ahead and hopefully hi a sub 3 next year.

@@garyd8979 congratulations on a fantastic time and thanks for that feedback! This was a B race for me so took it a bit slower and had to Slow down with the stitch also which is why I didn’t look too bad! I’m sure you have a good idea of your training already but I’ve done videos on all the training I’ve done for this block if you need any ideas for hitting sub 3 next year. Good luck!

Fair play man. Great video. Food for thought. I came in at just under 3:20 for my first Marathon loved it but would like to break sub 3:00 next time around with some adjustments and wave changes. Well done to you 💪🏻. I’d also say a stitch was trying out me out right for the last 2k 😂 but we got there

great video, love the tip on not focusing too much on getting past others at the start. Got around in 3.26 myself after a stitch in the same area as yourself and a bad toe nail incident! 😬 feel like i can improve, will definitely check out your vids on your training. Good luck in Florence

You're easy to remember. The lad with the go pro on his head. I was standing on the right hand side of the road just after the elite drinks station at 35K. You'll see me on your footage. It was a great spot to cheer people on. I knew about 200 runners running Sunday and 90% smashed it. I'm off to Valencia in just over four weeks then Boston in April and if I can hold form like you with 12k to go I'll be a happy man.
