There is a whole a lot more to explore when you hop on a train to see Bray Head, Portmanock Beach, Harbor Howth...I cant even recall how many hours a day would walk in Dublin. Now i am in Calgary and scenery here is not even comparable. Thank you for such a warm video about this beautiful city.

The Brazen Head may be the oldest pub in Dublin, but Sean's Bar in Athlone is the oldest documented pub in Ireland (and possibly the world) by a long shot--dating back to the 10th century. There's only documentation of a pub on the site of the Brazen Head going back to the 17th century or so.

Another great video. I like how you perceive and present everything with a lens of goodness and optimism. As far as I notice you seem you to like everything you eat or drink. There is a minimum critical evaluation. Rather I think there is almost no criticism. For promotion of tourism that is very good but travels can use a little bit of your insight about what to avoid or what felt short of expectations. If you are really such positive couple. Keep it up. If you are intentionally keeping things bright, that's cool too.

One tip from a local - if Templebar is a bit too busy or traditional for your tastes when you want a night out, start at South Great George's street and walk south until you reach Camden Street. The walk is about a kilometre long, and there's something for everyone along the way - dance clubs, dive bars, craft beer bars, a gay bar, cocktail bars, and a couple of less busy traditional pubs as well. That area is the main party street for Irish college students and young professionals (along with the Harcourt area).

Greetings from Ontario. I like your videos. Watched quite a few. Am going to spend 3 days in Dublin and 6 days on tour in a bus from Dublin to other parts of Ireland. I found your video interesting as I am trying to cram a lot in just 3 days for Dublin and your video has given me a headup. Just wondering if the hop-on bus is worth it or just a waste of money due to traffic. Thanks for the video.
@samuelandaudrey7 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Where in Ontario do you live? If you enjoy walking you could cover everything in the guide for sure in 3 days but the hop on hop off tour might be more comfortable. Even though Dublin is a city it has much more of a town feel compared to big cities in Canada.

One of the most fun things we have ever done on a trip was to ring the bells in Christ Church. Great history, great story, great experience.

Can someone tell me if I am planning right. I am renting a vaction home in Dublin with my daughter in law. We will take bus tours every other day and then tour things in Dublin on the off days. Should we be staying at a vacation rental more central? It is so far on these bus tours to Galway and County Cork, Belfast, etc. I felt like we should have stayed more central, but then we couldn't spend that much time in Dublin. Please help with suggestions. I can still change my plans.

Not really there's not really any cities in the middle of the country you're better staying in Dublin. Honestly though Ireland isn't that big so your furthest trip will be to Cork and about 3 hours while if you stayed in the middle of the country that would be the same amount of time pretty much.
@ProBren8 жыл бұрын
You're also looking at 2.5 hours to Galway and Belfast from Dublin which isn't bad so I'd stay in Dublin it'll be a lot better for when you aren't traveling somewhere

Ah, cool and hope you can check them out someday. Where else do you recommend visiting in Ireland?

P.S. Make sure your first day to get a map of Dublin since the bus may drop you off end of day and not the exact location where you caught bus in morning. You may have to walk 10 minutes back to where you were picked up in AM to start your travels They may do final drop off at popular area where restaurants are located.EVERYONE WALKS AROUND.

I just got back from Dublin and Ireland. My favorite thing I did in Dublin was visiting the crypt under Christ Church. It was beautifully creepy.

That is cool to hear! How many days did you visit?
@Swampzoid7 жыл бұрын
I was in Ireland and Northern Ireland 8 days. 3 total in Dublin. Drove around the countryside mainly checking out ruins. I tried my hand at sheering a sheep. I saw Ashford Castle. The people in Ireland are so nice. I'd go back for sure.

As an australian... I could pick straight away that you were canadian... You should hear my aussie drawl... Nice video by the way. I watched your video of Macau before I went and it helped checking out sites to go and visit. Cheers.
