Similar to the Muslim Car. Every yard and every prison is different but, these facts remain throughout I believe whether it's The CDC or The Feds. I can't go back in time to change anything if I could, it is what it is but, as I've aged, I've been more focused on three things in life now- which are GOD, Family & Country.

Makes you wonder how many men have had bad paperwork when they were all good. I felt bad for this one dude in LA county jail. We were eating breakfast n the day room at NORF and he just comes out and says he’s there for rape but didn’t do it. Everyone quit eating and were in shock…. Wasn’t my business cause the dude was black. He walked willingly to the blue wall in the back (blind spot). That beating went on for just a few moments but sounded like they were definitely stomping his life out. Someone eventually had to call man down. They carried him out unconscious looking like the elephant man. Nobody would go out and talk to the deputies about it, but they had us slammed down four hours doing a full crime scene investigation. That was the only beating in that module that was investigated like that so the dude might have passed away or had TBI. He could of been telling the truth and not been a rapist but behind the wall they don’t wait to find out what happens in court.

The issue I find is that this genre of music is a persona, many of these dudes grew up nice and never was about that life. The that’s the flavor of the day. People want to hear that gangsta stuff. So these dudes put on that front and get with certain people that are the real deal and get intertwined in that life but deep down, they’re not about it. So that persona gets them checked/targeted. My suggestion would be to leave it alone all together. It’s sadly apart of the lifestyle no matter where you are from. Hood or not, those problems come with the territory. Sadly, it cost him his life. Best to leave it alone. I grew up in the 90s, early 2000s, we didn’t have half the technology these kids have today. They got choices, I pray this is a lesson so that others can make the right one and not get stuck in that life they are not about…my two cents.
