I think the fact that it's get ridden that you haven't had any issues. Alot of people dot ride there Ducati's. I know there a good amount that do but alot of people use it as a show bike and that's it. As long as you keep up the maintenance it should last.

The v2 is absolutely amazing 👏🏾.... pretty comfortable as well .... anything under 1000cc will have a difficult time beating a v2 with a decent rider & set up

So next year I'll be in the market for one of these. I was checking how the used market was and my original intention was a 1299. I see 1199 with less than 10k miles average around 11k$ to 13k$ and then I look at 1299 averaging around 13k-16k. I can't decide which one to get and it's killing me so

The fluid leak on the fork may be your fork seals going. If you got 30k out of them you did VERY WELL. Thermosman is in GA he set up my suspension at the track and can rebuild your forks or change your fork fluid. You also have GMD computrack. Great Job on your bike sir!

When fancy animal had leaking forks it was actually the fork itself that had worn grooves into it and he had to get new forks because the seals weren’t the issue. Crazy but worth a check if you’ll already have forks apart (I know this is irrelevant to dude mungus as it’s probably fixed by now, however this may be useful for someone who has a similar issue coming across my comment)

Honestly it's not as bad as what most people think...... im not sure on the newer Ducatis . But my bike is every 15,000 miles which takes me currently about 1.5yrs to reach. Also me doing my own mantiance keep my cost lower than most

It’s not a complete lie. Ducatis are less reliable. There are millions of data points over large periods of time that indicate that. Your anecdote doesn’t matter 😊
