I own the helmet, it isn't that bad when you are in areas that are well lit like in the city. I would say though that the tint on the visor is pretty dark. If I had to do much riding outside of well lit areas it would be pretty sketchy. Because the visor is an odd shape and hard to store I don't like bringing the clear along with me. It also does not have a quick release system but rather screws. I just bring a pair of MX goggles with me. They fit just fine on the helmet considering it was made from an off-road helmet. I wouldn't recommend the helmet for long rides, it is more of a daytime city naked bike helmet in my opinion.
