Ducati Hyperstrada/Hypermotard Mini Review / Walkaround

Good review. Proud Owner of a Hyperstrada myself I once did the complete opposite. I had the opportunity to drive a Multistrada for around 6 hours will my HS was in service. The size ratio: driver VS bike is somewhat a travesty with the HS. Tall guys tend to look like a circus bear on a bicycle. It's such a small bike and yet the seat height is quite high. I'm only 5.9'' but my inseam is 32' so this bike is a perfect fit for me. My feet are not fully flat on the ground but close. By the way, from what I've seen in the video the bike you had was the standard size version. No lowering kit and no low seat. This feeling of been sat on the tank is of course weird at first but it offer a real straight up position and the handles fall right under your hands without having to reach for them like on the Multistrada, GS BMW and Triumph bikes. You either like it or hate it. I too have to look down to see the dash board. There is no escape around this one. I have used the panniers quite a lot in various conditions. They may not look like it but they are pretty sturdy and definitively handy. Groceries, helmets and full back pack fitted in with the addition of offering extra chicken handles for the passenger. Nice, review! I've been on this bike for 8 mos, commute 80mi/day and love it. I'm 5'11, tho. I think anyone over 6'2ish will feel cramped over a distance.

Even after riding it for a couple of hours I was getting used to the size. I think it just felt small at first cos I stepped straight off the Multi and onto the Hyper. You're a lucky man owning one of these great bikes. So much fun to be had. I would definitely have one in my collection if money were no object :-)

Definitely worth a try if you get chance. It's got a pretty unique approach in the "adventure bike" segment, more sports bike than adventure bike really. It's not for everyone, but horses for courses :-)

Yep this was recorded at the start of November, only just got round to editing it together. I got the bike towards the end of September, and its now just reached 1000 miles

BKarol nice, you're really putting some miles on that thing! I don't use mine to commute to work so it's really only got weekend miles on it at the moment, especially since the weather has been getting worse. Hopefully get some good ride-outs done in the summer tho :-)

i don't think your review did justice to such a nice bike..very negative, unfair comparing it to a totally different bike like the mutistrada. .
