⭐Ducati Monster 937 NRC Fender Eliminator Kit⭐ Install and Review: Worth it??

Hey, I figured this out last night when installing mine-when you install the license plate frame to the assembly, make sure the lock nut for the bolt faces outward, i.e. same direction as tail light. This will give you enough clearance to put the plastic cover back on later on when you’re finishing up. If NRC could work on fit and finish + instructions, could be a real winner.

Using the lock nut facing out towards the lights did the trick. I had a pretty quick install with no issues. Really liking it

I've used something quite similar. The bolts were installed the other way around, with the nuts on the facing side, and you should have enough space to put back your plate since the bolt takes less space at the back than the nuts.

I wasnt able to get those two top bolts in on the fender eliminator... To much of a hassle! Luckily by having the lock nuts facing out I was able to replace the plastic cover after everything was in place and it added a ton to the fender eliminators stability! I bought evotech tail tidy and Ducati performance dymanic LED rear turn signal. I think the assembly have a better fit, the rear dynamic LED match the front integrated when turn on. Looking forward to install all parts...

The NRC is growing on me. It's definitely 100X better than stock. It's super low profile. But I'm still just keeping it until another higher quality (but equally low profile) one comes out. So it may be worth a buy. Also, I did hear if you reverse the license plate bracket bolts, the undertail panel will fit back on.

I've been looking at the Evotech tail tidy. Looks high quality and it doesn't give a cop an excuse to pull me over because he can't see my license plate. I'm glad I saw your video so I know to stay away from the NRC tail tidy.

Looks great ! I'm gonna use a side mount tire hugger plate bracket with a center light and turn signals on both sides of plate . I've got 800 miles on mine and it's good to hear you like the 937 over your other 2 bikes . My 2nd bike will be probably be the multistrada v4. The 937 will be my daily rider and the v4 will be used for longer rides . I'm getting the ohlins shock asap. I've owned allot of sportbikes since the mid 80s . Lost count . Mostly inline 4 600s or 1000s . This bike is thee funnest bike yet . Flick and turn smooth and confident . Plenty of power to pass cars fast and turns in better than a 600cc bike . Light weight torque monster . 2 year warranty.

It's amazing because the Monster feels like it has almost as much torque and power as my Diavel (which is pro-tuned and has full race exhaust and goes 0-60 in under 2 seconds). I guess because of the lightness and tuning, it just feels so powerful across the rev range. Love it. However, I just did a game changer mod to the Diavel if you're interested (even more torque). Video should be out this week.

@@DucatiDiaries cool , Iove to see the video on it . Got the quick shifter understood . It's useless at low rpms. A gift from God at high rpms . Works best on upshift with WOT and no throttle on the down shift . Smooth in both directions as long as the rpms are high . I'll install the full decat exhaust at some point . Can't wait for ohlins to make some adj forks for it . Race tires are on the menu as well . Have not driven my car in weeks .Your videos are a huge asset . Thanks .

@@areyousure6713 Thanks brother. So with the quick shifter, never use it below 2500 RPM. I find that even if the tac says 2500 RPM, if I'm slowing down and descending near 2500 RPM, it's still rough so what makes it smooth is giving it a little gas right before you downshift (don't foget to then cut throttle completely and downshift), that makes it downshift smoothly every time. In higher RPMs, it's usually smooth up and down. I think the stock tires are excellent unless you're going to track the bike. But I've never tried race tires so let me know your thoughts.

Congratulations. When are you getting her? I've been thinking of the passenger pegs but unfortunately, they hold up the exhaust so I'm still in search of an option. I don't ride with a passenger either and can use the weight savings.

@@bryannpacaldo1539 Right now, the NRC kit is the best in my opinion (crappy installation manual notwithstanding). If you reverse the license plate bracket bolts that I complained about in the video, the undercarriage cover will fit back in. I'm going to do a video on that hopefully this week. So for now, this is the best looking option out there by far.

If you have lot of bucks but tight spaces, look at Dynamoto stands, but bring a _very_ large wallet (US$750 shipped from AUS) though you can ask them for a 5% coupon by email. I don't think there is a more space-efficient moto stand.

Glad I watched this I was just about to pull the lever to purchase the NRC kit for my 2021 Monster. Think I will hold off. Any word of another tail tidy. The Evotech one is not much better either!!

I still think the NRC is the best (by far) tail tidy on the market for the Monster. It is a 100000000% improvement over stock and even though I think it needs improvement, it's much better than other options (if you like low profile like I do). The instructions are not good but you can use the video to assist. I heard the underplate can fit back on if you reverse the bolts on the license plate bracket. I'm going to do that soon. So ultimately, I do recommend this over stock and vs. all others on the market right now. Just follow this video when you install it.

I bought the 1260-side mount kit for my diavel and the instructions were totally trash! I stripped the bolt that holds the new mount in place because they said it wasn’t necessary to remove the back tire but if you dont remove it you have 2 teeth worth of Rachet space to tighten your mount on. I was very frustrated as well and am trying to get them to send a replacement because they also do not tell you how the side mount is supposed to rotate and in trying to get it to rotate I removed some screws and compromised the plastic that is underneath the license plate mount. it’s definitely better than the stock fender on the diavel but it’s no where near where I want it to be.

I highly recommend the customLED tail light kit for the diavel because it makes the brake lights act as the signals so no more need for the huge tire hugger

I don't know what's up with these companies not giving better instructions. I do need a solution for my Diavel too. The stock one's gotta go. The only thing I heard is you'll get stuff kicked up onto your back. Have you had any issues with that? I guess maybe only if it's wet or muddy that would matter.

I bought a grey second hand monsterplus last week and happy with the tail tidy which was installed by the previous owner Are those indicator lights in europe smaller than yours, they look a lot better And lose those mirrors thats a big improvement a Crg or motogadget bar end is so much nicer

Not a fan of the New Rage. It looks like the plate was zip tied to something down there and a generic Amazon turn signal was jury rigged to fit. It doesn't look factory and its definitely asking to cops to pull me over. I have the Evotech tidy on the way. It utilizes the stock turnsignals and looks like what should've came on the bike to begin with. When it comes in I have a feeling its compatible with the Yoshimura turn signals which have the sequential effect like the front Euros, so ill look into installing nthose as well.

@@sebastianrules82 I haven't found a safe straightaway in the NY area yet but the dyno video I did should be accurate (the dyno puts a load on the bike) and one of my subscribers said he did a real world test and it was within like 1mph of my dyno estimate.
