Mate Love your work. Just a suggestion, when you use your grey primer on top of your filler, mist a coat of black as well - not so it's black, just so you have a fine covering that you can still see the grey through . This will really highlight any high or low spots when you are sanding back the filler.

Hi, you can sand the body filler dry, maybe 100-120 grit to start off , then use polyester spray filler 2 coats then you can fine tune the lines ... But keep at it ..I love the enthusiasm 👍
@forthebold
@forthebold 4 жыл бұрын
Yeah the body filler is dry when I use the palm sander with 80 grit. But I find that wet sanding is easier with 100 grit as it helps me feel the lines better with my had as I go over it. The main getting the bulk of is done with the palm sander though.
@myturkishlife1777
@myturkishlife1777 4 жыл бұрын
@@forthebold you will find it more accurate to use a block with 100 dry, Also use a dust of Matt black aerosol before you sand and it will highlight the low spots easier .. But keep going ... Also when you do the clay work just but some clay slicks, essentially spring steel maybe 0.3 of 0.5 mm it will "scrape" the clay easier.. If I were in the UK I would send you mine to use ...

Great progress, I feel your pain! I do this every day in my job , you could use a spray polyester filler now, that will give you about 0.5 to 1 mm of even coverage, then block it out with say 80 then 180 then high build 2k primer 👍🏼 Give me a shout if you want any guidance Wayne 👍🏼👍🏼
