Not colours are trademarked. That’s just silly. And the days where bikes have their own colours has to end. Just look at Yamaha. How many bikes do they put out that’s yellow and black. And Honda bikes that are all red?

I reminds me when I did my monster 900.. I made the frame gold powdercoated . .. sold it 2 years ago... maybe I sould do another one 😆😊

I would be greata if you could explain what should be taken into account if you finally decide to change the front fork. How to place a modern suspension on an classic bmw R o K, or in an old CB. Good Job, congrats. Sergio

The Ducati already has modern usd front forks so no conversion needed here. Will be a k100 conversion next year

If you CNC some m10 extention you can add in the swingarm linkaed between the heim joint and raise the back end for a more aggresive look

No, not a KTM, it's going to be its own bike, especially when the majority colour will be grey.

It's going to be a mix of raw carbon fibre, (gloss coated) with 2 shades of grey, a darker and a light grey.

I'll have to get a new one stamped as the powder coat is covering it. But there is also a handy loop hole that you don't need a frame vin displayed on bikes pre-dating 1999.

Loving that orange - you're really channelling your inner Bond Bug there! Puts me in mind of Neil Hodgson's INS Ducati Superbike from around 2000 although that had orange and black bodywork with a grey frame. The colour combination worked well though. How about making a feature of the suspension hoop by painting it the same orange as the frame (I think Ducati originally painted them bright yellow). And will the new shock spring be orange too? Probably the minority here. Not loving the frame color. Too ktm orange for me for a Ducati.

That's fine, it won't be to anyone's taste. But I am a true believer in not narrowing a colour down to a brand. As a brand designer myself it's something automotive manufacturers are stuck with (especially bikes) and it's time to move on more fluidly)
